Hi! Have been google searching with no luck looking for a book I started reading. I can't remember the title or very much :(
The man is a shapeshifter, but not a vampire or werewolf. They hide from humans but protect them. Normally their kind stays in groups, but he's a loner & hunts by himself. I want to say he's powerful/high ranking. The girl is also a loner because she's different from everyone...can't remember what exactly is different. Her roommate thinks she needs to get out more. She ends up running into the man in the city streetlight at night. I think she can see the demons or whatever that humans normally can't see & he protects her from them. I want to say he watches her for awhile because he's drawn to her.
I know that's not much detail about a book & it could cover A LOT of books. Thought I would give it a shot anyways! Thanks!
