I didn't know about them doing Emma. I am excited already! and this time I can watch it as a series, week by week, I don't know if that is better or worse.

Funny, I thought their Lydia was the BEST!

I kinda nerded out when I found this, they were having a kickstarter for printing the series on to DVD and they also did an edition of P&P with art work designed after the webseries characters. SO GOOD.

But it was a bit long and I was over it by the end. There wasn't a great deal of chemistry between Darcy and Lizzie.

Watching them flirt on the last webcast was a little painful. It's like Lizzie got all gushy-mushy and lots her edge. I actually cringed and turned away at one point. But the series over all was spot on!

I really look forward to Emma Approved.
They've done an adaptation on Sanditon (Welcome to Sanditon) this summer but it was nor that good. It was more something of a test I think (for Emma Approved, etc. maybe).

Disappointed...and she whined more than Elizabeth Bennet...but cute..
Yes! Super cute. Super addictive. I wanted to see more of Georgiana Darcy. Her character has always intrigued me.

I've watched a view of the eps of Welcome to Sanditon, but it just didn't have the same epicness as LBD.
Didn't know about the adaptation for Emma. But am now looking forward to seeing it and it's all new cast! (At least I hope they bring on a new cast)

It's a very modern adaptation of the story and filmed in the style of a Vlog (Video Blog, I guess), with the characters telling the story.
The sisters are reduced to three (or not, because there are some funny twists with Mary and Kitty) and some characters were left out. But it made me laugh and be sad in all the right places. The plot was transferred really well into the world of todays college graduates. And I am an Jane-Austen-purist, but I felt this was done in such a way, that they cater to the likes of me, who know the book inside out.
