A World Without Sun discussion

"Terry," Olli wasn't looking for an argument.

Tom woke up from the alarm and saw the window. "Olli! Terry!" He yelled, "what are you doing!?" He demanded.
Olli looked at Terry, "go!" She whispered, "I'll be right behind you, I promise," she had a plan, but she wouldn't let Terry see it until it happened.

Dequincy pulled Terry through the window, even though she fought him. He had to half drag half carry her to the others. "Terry, you heard her. Let's go."He said.

Sam got to the wall and watched as everyone gathered there, except Olli. She looked at Terry, "where's Olli!?" She demanded, but didn't leave the wall.

Olli stood still as Tom walked up to her, "what are you doing!? Your our top breeder!" He yelled.
Olli shook her head, "I'm a human being, I don't deserve this," she gestured around her.
He shook his head, "it's just a couple more years.. Then you can be free!"
Olli's heart ached, she thought about staying, but she knew she could find her lover if she got out, "I'm leaving, Tom."
She turned to walk out the window, but Tom grabbed her wrist, "no your not!"
Olli sighed and turned around, "watch me," she pulled him close and kissed him. Her heart pinched at her betrayal, her body trembled. For a second she didn't think it would work, until he moved his hands from her wrist to up her back.

-five minutes latter-

Tom was laying on the floor watched Olli get dressed, "that was... Amazing..,"
Olli nodded, "so I've been told," she felt her heart break, then she saw the doors to the lounge open and she dashed out the window.
She made it to the others, "there coming!"
Sam nodded and climbed to the top of the wall and extended her hand for the others.
Kilo was first up, then the boys.

Terry started climbing after them.

Sam pulled her up and watched her land on the other side.
Olli heard people coming and looked up at Sam.
Anger flashed in Sam's eyes, "don't you dare!" She whispered.
Olli nodded and reached up for her hand, she flinched at the sound of a gun shot and new who they had shot, "Tom..." Guilt filled her chest and she took Sam's hand.
Sam pulled her up and they both jumped down.

The others waited on the other side. "What do we do now?" Chris asked holding Kilo close. He wasn't going to lose her.

Sam smiled, "we run," she looked at all of them, "don't split up thou," she added.
Olli nodded in agreement.
Kilo looked at Olli, "are we fee now?" She asked feeling bad for leaving without saying goodbye.
Olli nodded, "of course."
Sam took Olli's hand, we won't be if we stand here to much longer!"

Chris took Kilo's hand,"Then let's go."
Dequnicy and Terry stood awkwardly apart, I'm so not holding his hand. Terry thought.

Olli looked over at terry and giggled. Before se could offer Terry her hand, Sam tugged her and led them to her house.

Olli walked into the lounge and sat in her usual spot and looked out the replaced window. She smiled lightly at the rain and wondered if Sam was watching it too.

Her guard leaned against the wall reading a magazine.

Sam touches the glass of the window and wishes she could touch the rain and feel it. She sighs lightly when she realizes she will never be able to.

"What are you thinking about?"He asked not looking up from the magazine he was reading.

"The rain," she said calmly, ' and Sam' she continued mentally, "it so beautiful."

He said oddly,"Sure it is," he said. The guard rolled up his sleeves revealing his sun tattoo.

Olli noticed the tattoo, "that's pretty," she complimented, "does it mean anything? Or have a story behind it?"

He swore under his breath and pulled his sleeve down,why had he been so careless. "It was a stupid dare, that's all."he lied.

She arched an eyebrow, "I maybe normal, but I can tell your lying."

"I my be normal, but that doesn't mean I'll tell you things about me." He said

"Aww, why not?" She asked cutely, "does it represent someone you love?" She asked softly, not wanting to sound like she was teasing him.

He ignored her focusing back on his magazine.

Olli sighed and looked back out the window, "I wonder what true freedom feels like," she whispered as she watched the rain street down the window.

"True freedom is making your own choices,"he said quietly.

Olli looked back at him, "are you free?" she asked curiously.

"Depends on how you look at it,"he said.

Olli tilted her head, "what do you mean by that? you ether are or you aren't, right?" she asked feeling confused.

He thought about his job as a rebel. He didn't have to deal with the city rules much, but he had important responsibilities in the rebellion. "Some people are free of one thing, but trapped in another that's sightly easier,"

She raised n eyebrow, "I see," she looked back at his arm, "is that what the tattoo stands for? Freedom?" she asked, hoping she was slightly closer to figuring it out.

He bit the inside of his cheek. He had to admit, he understood why the rebellion needed more women in it. They're smart ,too smart. Olli could be a good addition,He thought.

She tilted her head slightly when he didn't answer, "Is that a yes?" she asked slightly confused.

He shrugged,"Whatever lets you sleep easier,"

Olli sighed, feeling like she failed at guessing. She looked back out the window and thought about her baby, she touched her stomach and hoped it was a boy; so it could live a better life.

"What will you name it?" He asked changing the subject.

The guard outside the lounge door noticed Pete,"What are you doing back here?"

Olli bit her lip, "I'm not sure.. something fitting."

Pete bit his lip and knew the "I'm looking for the bathroom" line wouldn't work, "well, I.. Umm..." he punched the guard in the nose and ran into the lounge.
He spotted Olli and joy ran threw him, "Olli!"
Olli looked from the window to see Pete, shock ran threw her, "Pete?" she jumped to her feet, "Pete!" she smiled.

The bleeding guard rushed into the room his gun raised at Pete.

Olli noticed the guard and forced a smile and tried holding back her tears, there was nothing she could do now, "I love you," she told Pete.
Pete smiled and walked towards her, ignoring the guy who was in the room with her and not knowing about the one with the gun pointed at him, "I love you too Olli, come on, lets get out of here," he reached his hand out to her.
She nodded and walked towards him slowly.

Before he could stop the bleeding guard he shot 2 times, directly into Pete's back. Blood pouring out, immediately. Before the he knew what happened. Olli's guard snapped the man's neck and took his gun and shot down the cameras. Alarms started blaring.

"No!" Olli cried out as she caught Pete before he hid the ground. She moved his red hair from his face and saw he was already gone; his face was still happy from seeing Olli, it didn't look like pain had set in at all. Tears ran down Olli's face as she pulled Pete's still warm body in for a hug, "I love you," she repeated in a whisper.

Her guard gently pulled her away from Pete's body,"Olli we have to go."

((lol it's all good :p That was kind of emotional to write, I love Olli to much >.< lol))

Olli sniffled and let go of Pete. She stood to her feet, "where are we going?" she asked, pain filling her voice.

"Someplace safer than here."He grabbed Olli's hand and led her out of the lounge and through the underground tunnels he had found on his first day here.Out of the faculty.

Olli fallowed him, feeling both confused and heart broken.

Rob rubbed his arms, he felt slightly uncomfortable. Sure he looked forward to coming here some day, but now? He looked at Hunter, "are you sure you want to do this?"

"Don't chicken out on me Rob." And he smiled that sweet smile that could convince anyone to jump off a cliff, he walked across the room with a determined look and went straight to the reception hall.
Hunter was always a determined boy, doing first and thinking later, he's head strong and doesn't let anyone pull him down.
