I am Ellen Whyte for my newspaper columns and last year I started writing romance as Storm Chase. I was accidentally outed by a magazine and now it seems pretty pointless to be two people. Can I combine my profiles to say Ellen Whyte, and then underneath, writing as Storm Chase? And then pile everything from my reviews to my books under one person?

There is no way currently to merge two author profiles like that.

Options that do exist (either or both of these can be done):
* Links in each profile to the other. So the Ellen Whyte description might include the line, "Also publishes romance novels as Storm Chase."
* If you want, we can add one of your author names as a secondary author for all books written by the other name. I've done one just for example purposes; it can be undone if you dislike it this way: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16...

How strange! I responded a few days ago but the comment has vanished. Must be gremlins.

I said it looks a bit odd because it looks like each book has to two authors. However, as it's the standard way I'd better go with it. Could you put in the "writing as" tag like the others have too? So Ellen Whyte is "writing as" Storm Chase?

I've changed my profiles already to reflect the changes, and I've blogged (copy to Goodreads) about why I have consolidated the two (got outed in national magazine).
