This is going to sound funny, but the best sex I've read is in Valley of the Horses, you know the prehistoric fiction of Jane Auel. I remember it being hot, hot, hot!

Oh, sorry, love scene...my mistake...after remembering that I'm a little muddled...

Just about any scene with Claire and Jamie from the well-loved Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Those books hooked me from the beginning.

one that I enjoyed alot is from a booked called No Humans Involved from a fantasy series called Women of the Otherworld by Kelley Armstrong. I really enjoyed it becuase throughout the series your wondering, when are they going to get together? and when they do...Wow. its a great scene.

Oh my! I couldn't agree with you more! I never believed I was the type of person to fall in love with a fictional character but Jamie captured my heart! :)

I really need to finish this series. I've read the first four books and loved them. All this talk about Jamie and Claire......well, it's making me dreamy;)

Lisa, I read the series and it's awesome. Diana Gabladon is coming out with another book for the series in Sept. it's called An Echo In Bone. I'm really excited for it and I plan on reading the series over again before the new book comes out. :)

Not exactly hot, but the scene in P&P when Elizabeth and Darcy finally confess their feelings gets me every time. It is by far my favourite romantic moment of all time.

Though, if we're going with hot, I'll throw in my vote for Claire and Jamie. Terrific scenes. Made me feel naughty for reading Outlander in public.

Tamora Pierce has some really romantic scenes too. And sex is pretty non-nonchalant in her books which is a refreshing take. Favourite Tammy line: (When George is comforting Alana after a break up) "There's plenty more fish in the sea than Prince Jonathan. And this particular fish loves you with all his crooked heart."

Eva, your comment of Pride and Prejudice I totally agree with. But I think there's a moment I prefer. I love it when at the end of Anne of the Island by L.M. Montgomery, Anne and Gilbert finally admit that they love each other and decide to get married. It is unforgettable.
