Annabeth walked in, taking a deep breath. Her white skirt brushed against her legs, making a soft sound. She was wearing boots, and the heels clicked against the tile floor. She smiled at the person at the front desk, looking a bit uncomfortable. The ringlets in her hair fell to her back in a waterfall.
((I keep getting scared I'm being stupid XD))
((No, sometimes I just rp by myself when I'm too scared to ask anyone. This is one of those times XD I'm weird, I know))
((That would be fun, I would love that! If you don't mind, that is. I don't want it to be something you feel like you have to do 'cause I'm lonely. So no pressure))
Annabeth flattened her skirt, and, standing straight up, started to walk toward her room. She had some stuff to unload there that required her immediate attention.
((I don’t mind. If I don’t post in 24h, don’t feel bad to post again. Sometimes I miss the notifications))
A young man walked down the hall and bumped into the young woman. He jumped, looking up from his phone, “shoot, I’m so sorry.”

((Oh, oki doki!))
Annabeth stumbled, then glanced up, surprised. She smiled. "Oh don't be, it was my fault, I wasn't paying attention." She scanned the person. "Are you alright? You're not hurt?" she asked, brows furrowed in concern.

He smiled lightly, “oh no, I’m fine. It was my fault. I was paying more attention to my phone.” He rubbed the back of his neck, “you’re okay?”
Anna nodded, studying his face. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm good." She shifted a bit, putting her hands behind her back and looking at the ground. He wasn't bad looking. Not at all. She smiled to herself. What was she doing? She just met this guy. Stupid, Anna. You're stupid. You always do this. What the heck is wrong with you?
She realized she was just standing there, and looked back up. "Sorry I'll- I'll go now. Uh- yeah." She put her head down and walked past him, embarrassed. Idiot.

He watched her walk, his eyes traveling over her body before he rushed after her, “where are you headed?”
((Gotta go eat. I'll be back soon-))
((Back))
Anna looked at him, a bit surprised. "Oh- I was just going to the cafe to get something to eat." Her voice was soft. "If you...wanted to come with me, you could?" she offered shyly. She didn't look him in the eye, afraid of what she may find there. Afraid he would think she was weird.

He shrugged, “sure, food sounds good.” He’d already eaten, but would gladly join this lovely creature for a meal.
Anna smiled widely, finally looking at the man. "Wonderful!" A light blush could be found on her cheeks. She started walking. "I'm Annabeth, by the way. Or Anna, if you'd prefer."
((Continue in cafe?))
Anna punched his arm playfully. "Cute name," she said happily. Then she realized that was weird and turned red. "Oh- sorry!"

He chuckled, “thanks, my mom gave it to me. You’re name isn’t too bad either,” he winked playfully.
((Sure. You want to post first?))

Anna smiled at the ground. Dammit, she might really have a crush on this guy. That wasn't good. "I don't really like it, but thanks," she said softly.
Anna stared at him, bright red. "You- you think I'm pretty?" Honestly, she was shocked. How could anyone find her pretty? She knew she wasn't. She'd grown up knowing she wasn't. The fact that someone saw her as any more than decent was astonishing.
He shrugged, “well, yeah.” Every girl was pretty in some way. She didn’t seem to believe him, but he didn’t care; he only spoke the truth.
Anna smiled softly. "Thank you, then," she murmured. Then she continued walking to the cafe. He thinks I'm pretty...
Anna laughed shyly. "Oh- I like reading. And medical work. Though I don't get to do that much. It's kind of what I want to spend the rest of my life doing, I guess." She said this while looking at the ground. She really did enjoy working with medicines and helping people. She'd always felt useless, and she felt that that may help her feel more like she was worth something.
He smiled lightly, “oh? What type of medical work are you interested in? Are you aiming to be a nurse? Doctor?”
Anna looked up at him, surprised that he was interested. "A doctor. I think that's how I could help the most," she said passionately. She'd had the dream since she was eight. She hadn't been interested in anything else, and had dedicated herself to finding out as much as she could about medical work.
He nodded, “I’ve always wanted to be a massage therapist,” he shrugged, “being a doctor would be way cooler.”
She smiled. "No, I think that's cool as well," she said happily. She was being honest. It was something different. It wasn't just another of the same job over and over.
He shrugged, “I guess.” He stuffed his hands into his pockets as he walked. “Do you have many friends here?”
Annabeth bit her lip and shook her head. "No, not really. I don't tend to 'put myself out there'. So it's my fault, really."
((I gtg eat!))
((I gtg eat!))
Anna smiled happily. "I'm glad. You seem like a wonderful friend, Tobias." Her smile turned mischievous. "Wanna race to the cafe?" She knew she sounded like a child, but she couldn't help it. She was just so happy! He seemed super sweet. She didn't care that she'd just met him.
Anna stared at him, surprised for a second, and then grinned. She took off after him, laughing as well.
((Hey, I have to go. Have a good night's sleep and stay safe.))

He laughed as they ran down the halls, dodging people.
((Alright, you have a good night too. Post in Cafe when you return))
