Personality: She can be sweet and funny to those she likes, but unforgiving and cruel to those who betray her. She is kind of a badass and doesn't take shit from anybody. She is likes to think that she is independent and that people(particularly guys) don't faze her.

There isn't much to say about Matrix. His family, now dead, always told him to hate the system. They told him to rebel, so he did. When they died, Matrix had to fend for himself. He was an only child, which only made it worse. When Matrix was fifteen, he found himself in a fight. He didn't know how he got there or even why he was fighting in the first place, he just knew that if he lost he'd be dead. Eventually the other man pulled a knife, and slashed Matrix across the chest. This angered Matrix, and soon he had the other man under his feet. Dead. After that, a woman came to him. She recruited him into the rebellion, which he embraced gladly.

Early Life

Aria grew up in the Day care like most other children. She was that one child who was always causing trouble. Ari refused to obey, or even listen to, the authorities. She received countless scolding, most of which were for her running off to pull a prank.
Once, when Ari was nine, she tricked all the girls into believing there were ghosts in the bathrooms. Soon, the rumor spread to every child in the Day Care, and everyone refused to use the bathroom facilities for almost two days. On the second day, the adults overheard what was going on, and sent Ari to speak with one of the more threatening. She spoke with him for over an hour, and when she reappeared, she had a bruise on her left bicep, and dozens of scratches along her arms and legs. It is unknown what occurred with the man, but after one simple meeting, Ari was never the same.
Aria began obeying the adults, and remained quiet. She never once got in trouble, and turned into the ideal perfect child.

Adolescence

As Ari grew older, she became less open. She never spoke to anyone once she was put into the breeding facility, and no one came to breed with her until almost six months into her stay. She let him do his will, and then when he left, she sobbed. She hated the life she was living. She knew she had to get out.
That was the first time she thought of rebelling. As more men came to breed with her, she became angrier and angrier. She never once became pregnant, which was a miracle. At the age of sixteen, Ari had concocted a plan for her escape. Let's just say it involved many bobby pins, a butter knife she had managed to find, and some ketchup with added water.
As soon as Ari was out, she had no idea of where she would go. As she wandered the dark streets alone, a man watched her. He soon came towards her, and she sprinted away from him. She would not be going back into the breeding facility. Not alive, anyway.
"Wait!" the man called from behind her, he began running in her direction. "I won't bring you back, I promise." Aria kept running despite his promises. She heard a groan of annoyance behind her, and his pounding feet were suddenly right behind her. Ari's heart beat faster in her chest, and she thought it would pop right out as she pushed herself to go faster. Suddenly, the man had caught her wrist, pulling her to a stop.
Aria screamed as loud as she could, causing the man to release her. She began running again, but she wasn't quick enough. The man crashed into her from behind. She was lying on her back on the hard, damp ground with the man on top of her. He looked down at her.
"Listen." He said quietly. He looked to be in his mid-thirties. His hair was a dark brown, and his eyes were the same color. "You came from the Breeding facility, am I correct?" I made no sound or movement. He couldn't know, he couldn't take me back, I wouldn't let him, Ari thought to herself. After a moment of silence, he groaned. "Don't be so dificult! I'm not going to take you back. I'm part of the rebellion, and I just so happen to be out looking for recruits. Are you in or not?"
Ari cleared my throat, "How am I supposed to believe you?" She asked, hoping her voice didn't sound as shaky as it felt.
"You'll just have to trust me." He said as he stood up. After a moment of hesitation, Ari stood as well and dusted herself off. "Sorry about shoving you down, it was the only way I could get you to listen." He said, "My name's Marcus."
"Aria." She replied.
"Now, we really have to go before someone suspects something. You screamed really loud." Marcus said, and began walking away from her. Ari followed. She didn't know why she trusted him, she just got that vibe.
Once they arrived at the rebel headquarters, Ari felt safer than she ever had. She began training to fight, and remained with the rebels where she is currently.
