Hemlock (Hemlock #1) by Kathleen Peacock - restarting June 8th 2014

It's been a long time since I've read about werewolves. Can't wait to read it.

Ah. :(
I'm not sure what's better.. Love triangles or insta love.

That's what I thought too.The idea is unique.

I have to agree. It's really weird that they're openly saying it was a werewolf.

The past few books i've read haven't been very good, so it makes it worse.

I'm a bit bored really. not much is happening, and I don't really like Mac all that much.

I'm still only at about 27%, I just haven't had time today. D:
Has anything decent happened yet?
Not really. It's pretty dull and a bit silly. I've also noticed at least one plot hole. I'm not impressed to be honest.

I'm not going to get chance now until tomorrow, but i can see it being put down if it's that bad..
Really hoping Unwholly doesn't suffer from middle book syndrome.. I need that one to be good.

I don't know. it was pretty good between the 65% mark and the 90% mark, but it really annoyed me in places. I'm giving it 3 stars, so you'll probably think it's a 2. Maybe read unwholly then come back to it?

Mackenzie Dobson's life has been turned upside down since she vowed to hunt her best friend Amy's killer: a white werewolf. Lupine syndrome—also known as the werewolf virus—is on the rise across the country, and bloodlust is not easy to control. But it soon becomes clear that dangerous secrets are lurking in the shadows of Hemlock, Mac's hometown—and she is thrown into a maelstrom of violence and betrayal that puts her in grave danger.
Kathleen Peacock's thrilling debut novel provides readers with a mystery that Kimberly Derting, author of The Body Finder, calls "clever and frightening," while Sophie Jordan, New York Times bestselling author of Firelight, raves: "Forget every werewolf book you've ever read. This one breaks the mold."
Chelsea, Mishma and I will be reading this on September 22nd. Everyone welcome ☺
