Thank you, Calathea, for being the first brave person to post here. I LOVE your caterpillar! ;-) Okey-dokey. These are the notebook doodles I made for the same Blood Red Butterfly launch party last February.

Is the stuff in the travelling notebook secret or could the authors say if they are against sharing online?
I suppose Calathea could provide us with pictures, considering that at the moment the notebook is parked in her house ;-).

Thanks!!

Well, here is my doodle that can be found in our Traveling Notebook:

If you click the right side of your mouse, you'll be able to open the picture in a new window and see it in bigger size — and maybe you'll be able to read the text, too... :-)

How lovely! and funny, and accurate/appropriate, i look at it and can't stop smiling imagining Kit doing all that :-)
Heh. You guys are so sweet! (Considering that you've already seen these before! *grin*)
Now we'll just wait and see what kind of NEW fan art we'll get to see on this topic. ;-) Yay!

Pretty! :-) (must stop watching it now, lol)
Maybe I'd better repost this here too, right? It's my farewell for our lovely Come Unto These Yellow Sands discussion last May.

Remember the over two hundred Asiatic lily bulbs Swift planted in the back garden on that weekend in autumn when he was alone, miserable and craving (chapter 5, page 56)?
In the picture Swift's angel statue has raised her other wing to guard and shelter the lilies. And as you can see, it's already summer in this picture. The time has come for the lilies to bloom. And I'm back thinking about Swift's most beautiful word Time. ;-)
I'd like to think that Swift and Max's relationship is blossoming, too — the two biggest lilies are for them. The buds are new chances, new days — among them is Swift's (view spoiler) , a bud full of hope and possibilities.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Oh wow. Thank you so much for the links, Calathea! And we actually know the artist of both wonderful Archer pictures! Absolutely beautiful!

Anyone feel like celebrating the upcoming release of The Haunted Heart: Winter by doing some fan art of it? I had a vision of the spooky mirror lady last night. Who's going to join me doodling? ;-)

That makes me smile every time I see it.

I second that! I love seeing what the words inspire. We've got such a collection of talents here. It's humbling.

Thank you for your kind words, Josh. And just like so many of you I would LOVE to see more fan art in this fan art corner!
To celebrate the upcoming launch of The Haunted Heart: Winter I took out my notebook yesterday and did some doodling... Here is my vision of the mirror lady — she came out surprisingly colorful even though I didn't quite plan to do it that way. ;-) So, I'll also add a black-and-white version of Ines, if you guys prefer that one. :-)

I've seen fan art that could be used to illustrate books, it's that good. Artistic ability impresses me no end. What a treat to start the day!
