Hi everyone!
First time to this group (this is where I post, right?), so a short intro: I'm an avid reader and writer. Live in the Bronx, after a stint in the Army. I look forward to finding some new good books. Have a huge pile of books I'm currently reading. And added another last night: The Iraqi Christ. Great so far! Cheers all and look forward to more discussions.

Garrett Smith (garrettsmith) Hello, we are husband and wife writing team, Michael C. Smith and Cynthia K. Garrett, writing together as Garrett Smith.

We are new to Goodreads and look forward to participating in this group.

Any suggestions on a thread to pick up on, are welcome.

So little time, so much talk of books on Goodreads. It makes a newbie's head spin.

Som | 126 comments Hey Nelson, Welcome to TNBBC. I'll check The Iraqi Christ, looks good. Cheers. All the best with your books. Have fun reading! (:

Hello, Garrett Smith. Welcome to TNBBC. I'm fairly new too, obviously with a spun head. There are so many book challenges you can join in or create one, to start your venture; lots of recommendations will come in the way.
All the best with your new book(s). Happy reading!

Long live and plant! (:

Som, I loved your 'spun head' phrase! I even dreamed last night of reading posts and reviews.

Malia Haberman Hi everyone! I'm Malia and I'm a newbie to the group. I live in the Seattle area and I'm a writer who loves to read, eat and ballroom dance. I also have to admit, I love watching TV. It keeps my mind from rotting away. :)

Amrit Chima (amritchima) Hi all! Welcome to the group! I recently joined as well and I'm really enjoying the discussion threads and checking out what others are reading. It's such a fabulous forum. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am!

Hi
I'm Gary Morris (Gary A.M.Morris to avoid confusion with the other author Gary Morris). I am the author of two recently released books on Kindle: 'The Journals of The Guardian' Book1 'Dawn of a Hero' . and 'Miao Shan' 'The Awakening'.
Both books are the first of a series. Both are YA, paranormal fantasy, and the Guardian is also sci fi.
I am currently trying to organise a massive give way of both books, via Amazon. So if you would like a free Kindle copy, please contact me so I can organise a way of letting you know when to download the book .

Belinda Garcia (belindavasquezgarcia) | 4 comments Good evening (pretend I sound like Alfred Hitchcock). I am Belinda Vasquez Garcia and I am an author of three books, The Witch Narratives Reincarnation (Book 1 of the Land of Enchantment Series)which recently won a2013 Books Into Movies Award.) I am excited about this since the book goes to 10 directors or producers. The second book in the series is Ghosts of the Black Rose which is a finalist for Best Fantasy for the 2013 NM / AZ Book Awards. I, also, confess to being the author of Return of the Bones, which is a 2013 NM / AZ Book Awards finalist for best Historical Fiction and best Multi-Cultural fiction. I love Zumba and I'm crazy about English history, so am enjoying the White Queen on Showtime. I would love to share a glass of wine with all of you.

Kathryn Primm | 10 comments Exciting Belinda! I am a non fiction writer and I would love to share some wine! :)

Dan Arrow | 2 comments Hi Lori, hello group, I'm Dan Arrow. From the looks of things I'm in the right place--an eclectic and diverse group of readers/writers. I was a literary geek in high school, then went off to live the world for almost 30 years, and didn't return to books and writing until three years ago when I got dumped from my career. Best thing that ever happened to this artistic/autistic guy. Looking forward to communicating with everyone in a positive way. Dan
