The Next Best Book Club discussion

Hello everyone! My name is Kate, and I'm new to these parts. I live in a tiny town in the Florida Panhandle which, sadly, has almost no intellectual or literary culture. I often feel like I'm the only one who reads around here, so I figured I'd try out a group on Goodreads.

I graduated with my Master of Public Health a few months ago and am currently job searching. This leaves me lots of time to read far too many books. I'm currently reading The Wicked Girls by Alex Marwood and have literally hundreds of unread books on my shelves, in addition to the dozen books I have checked out from the local library.

I move around a lot, so I'd love to make some new online friends that I can take with me wherever I go. Please feel free to add me as a friend or send me a message here on Goodreads. :)

Hi Kate, welcome to the group. I miss Florida, I lived in Naples for three years and wish I never left - especially when the NEPA weather forces me to wear long sleeves in August!

Hi Kate and welcome! Glad to see you've chosen goodreads over gators. Being from the NE..I'm a little jealous myself.

No need to be jealous...we've been at about 95 degrees for months on end. It's absolutely miserable. I'm from Ohio and am NOT cut out for this!

Lori, I'd take NEPA over FL any day! I lived in Scranton for four years. During the peak seasons of "The Office" :D...Great memories, I love that area.
