Thank you, Ashley, for all that you've done for the group! We will miss having you as a mod. <3.

This is sad news Kara. Will you be searching for another mod to fill Ashley's shoes? I'm just curious because when I've seen other groups 'loose' a mod they tend to look for another one to fill the previous person's shoes.
I wish you all the best Ashley. I'm sad to see you go but I fully understand.

If you ever someone to lead a challenge, I would love to help out.

I hate having to give up my position, but life is totally crazy right now. My husband and I will be traveling between Illinois/North Carolina about every other month for his last year of medical school. With all of the travel, packing/unpacking...it is very hard to even make time to read at this point.
You all are the best! I will definitely be checking in and participating as much as I can in the next few months. Hopefully, after the Hubby graduates and we get settled into one place I can be back on here more. :)
Thank you all. :)

Zara will be taking over the other two yearly challenges Ashley has been managing: The Every Year Challenge and The Favorites Challenge. Thank you, Zara!

Hi Kara,
I just wanted to check that I'm not going crazy. I can't find the two yearly challenges I will be taking over for Ashley in the yearly challenge discussion thread. Have they been removed or just moved somewhere else? I thought I saw them the other day that's all. I was wanting to say hi to everyone.

Thank you! :)

Thank you! :)"
OOPS! Sorry. Shows why one shouldn't do anything that requires lots of concentration when one's head is choked up with a cold.

The Welcome Committee members will be announced shortly--we are waiting for all of them to confirm.

Thank you to everyone who applied. It was great to see so many members engaged in the group.

I just wanted to drop in and let you all know that the ever popular Buddy Reads challenge is back up and running.
The Buddy Reads challenge is yet another great way to knock some of those many books off your TBR lists on GRs.
To nominate a book that you would like to buddy up with someone to read head over to *NEW* Buddy Read Introductions

The Halloween Costume Mini Challenge
We're still looking for a leader for the costume challenge--let us know if you're interested!
And stay tuned: fourth quarter challenges will be posted soon.

We've hit over 3,000 members! We've basically doubled in the last few months.
Thank you to each and every one of you for making this group what it is. And a special thanks to the Welcome Committee (Jodi, Brian, SilverRaindrops, Nathaly, and now Cassandra) who messaged every single one of our new members to welcome them to our group.

OMG...WHAT?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!
YAY! Remember when we were thinking it would be kinda neat to reach 2014 members by the year 2014 about three weeks ago?
That's insane and so amazing!

Keep up the good work!!
