I have so enjoyed looking at all the subjects and discussions here, and thought it was about time to open a "home" of my own. I hope you'll visit and join in. Chatting and getting to know you is my goal!

I woke up to great news this morning--4 books on the Kindle lists. Woohoo! Yes, I've been at this a long time. Yes, I write in a lot of different sub-genres/genres, and yes, it is harder to build a career writing that way. But I'm a purpose writer, so I write books I really feel driven to write. It's not the easy road, but then life would be dull if we just took the easy roads and not the right roads for us, wouldn't it?

Two I really want to tell you about because they're both on sale and they won't be on sale much longer. Legend of the Mist, Amazon has for $1.99 right now. It's usually $8 something, so that's a substantial savings.

If you like time-travel, romantic suspense/thriller, you might enjoy this one. It's not your typical time-travel where one goes back or comes forward, just so you know. In it, the hero (Scots) and heroine (American) must solve an 1100s murder mystery to prevent their deaths in contemporary time.

I wrote this book for my mom. She loved books more than any other person I've ever known in my life. So I took everything she most loved in all the different books she read and crafted a story containing them. Legend of the Mist is the result.

The inside scoop. She was in the hospital 6 months, and I was scared she would pass before getting to read the book. My then editor worked a miracle and got a copy of the book done earlier and rushed it to me. I read the book to my mom and had the privilege of seeing her every reaction. It was an amazing experience and one so humbling it walks in my soul every time I write. Mom loved the book. It was the last one she read before she died. As you can imagine, that makes it very special to me.

Dangerous Desires

Neighbor died recently and his widow seems so lost. Breaks my heart and makes me want to write more Lost-Inc. books. (Some jerk stole her mower and edger, so she's scared, too, which really upsets me. It's horrible for anyone to be scared in their own home--violated--but especially when already suffering fresh grief.

Anyway, that got me to thinking about Lost-Inc. Maybe I should revisit it...

I just wanted to say thank you to Readers! DANGEROUS DESIRES made the USA Today list this week (and came really close #154 last week).

I so appreciate the way you've embraced this collection--all of the authors are. You've helped us all realize dreams we've carried in our hearts for a very long time.
