Well, good question, John! Can you see where I've just set up a thread for discussing the book? So basically that's where we discuss it. We all start reading the book at about the beginning of September, and put any comments that we want to make there. Do you know how to use the 'spoiler' function? That's a way of hiding comments in case others haven't got that far.
So for example, you might say something like. 'I'm enjoying the book so far, and like the language. I've just finished chapter 1. I was surprised (view spoiler)

John, see comment #97 in "Basic How to tips":

Are you 2 up for The Moonstone in Sept still?

Sorry just noticed your message. Yes, I'll still join you for this one. I can start any time.

I've got 4 books to get through before I resume Moonstone, but I'm also 1/4 through it already so feel free to start and after I get at least 1 book done (2 week ebook loan and there's 2 holds on it so I need to finish it or else wait a month to finish) I'll add Moonstone back into my daily quota.

I really like Faulkner and so far have only read Light in August and As I Lay Dying. So I'd happily join for another by him.

I'll start in a few days. Do you want me to set up a readalong thread for it?

I think it's a plan!

I might join you for some, depending on which you pick.

Is there anything in particular you'd like to read, Pink?

I might join in some of the books. Not Sanctuary which I just read yesterday or As I Lay Dying which I read in 2013 but almost anything else I would be interested in.

Sounds great Gill!

I'd like to join!
I'd like to join!

I'll join, I'll put it on my schedule for 2016!

Just to say this is a great idea for a thread!
I am keen to read "The Mist in the Mirror" by Susan Hill around Halloween next month, would anyone be interested in buddy reading this with me? It's about 300 pages long so don't think it would take up too much time. I love spooky read around Halloween!

Is this a mystery? I might be interested if so. I don't mind spooky but don't like horror...

I think I will give it a pass. Sorry! Hope you enjoy it though.

That's great, Heather! I look forward to reading this with you :) I can probably get started on it around mid-October, if that sounds good to you?

Gill, I'll join as well.
Gill, I'll join as well.

February As I Lay Dying
April The Reivers: A Reminiscence
June Sanctuary
August Absalom, Absalom! ( for your light holiday read!)
October Go Down, Moses
December Requiem for a Nun
I'll ask Leslie to add them to the upcoming Readalongs list, and I'll try to remember to give a reminder about each one, a few weeks in advance. Everyone is welcome!

You're very welcome, Charbel.

Me too Gill!
I assume you're joking about the "light holiday read" with Absolom Absolom, ha ha :)

Oops Gill, the "me too" was in response to your comment "glad you will be joining us in February," in that I'm glad also. :)

I do want to read something Halloween oriented, but I haven't resd The Woman in Black yet. Perhaps I'll join you, depending on how my reading schedule goes.
