Nate glanced at her, nodding slightly. "I don't have to keep a promise." Nate said to Stefan. "Because I didn't make one."

Lyra looked between the two boys, deciding it would probably be best to sustain her neutrality by not speaking.
"Really?" Stefan said. "Then why don't you kiss her? Scared of me?" "No." Nate said and he bent down to kiss Lyra again.
Lyra just stood there, letting Nate kiss her, but then she kissed him back so softly it would have barely been noticeable. After awhile she pulled away and looked at Stefan, then Nate, then Stefan.
Stefan's lips were tight and Nate smirked. "So....how do you feel now?" "I feel like killing you." Stefan growled.
Lyra's head snapped around to face her brother. "Stefan," she warned, "you're taking this to a much higher extremem than what it should be..."
"You're right." Stefan said abruptly turning around. "I'll leave you two alone." he briskly started walking away. Nate stared after him, unabashed.
Lyra sighed as her brotehr stalked off, watching him go with a near feeling of sadness. She hoped he wouldn't take Nate's provoking too seriously. She looked at Nate. "Well that seemed to work."
"I knew it would." he said with a smirk. "He's your brother. I hope he didn't reallly mean that though."
Lyra shook her head. "I doubt he did, but he takes a lot of things very seriously. He's always been a kind and loving and caring brother, but also with the strictness of an army commandor." She shrugged, and smiled at him.
"Of course." Nate said. "An army commander! Exactly! That was what he reminded me off! I thought he looked familiar.
Lyra looked at him. "My brother was an army commander?! And he never told me?!" She said in disbelief.
Nate laughed. "No. Of course not....unless that's his big secret. I was just joking. I've never seen the army in my life."
"Good," she sighed in relief. "Geez, Nate, you scared me."
"What's so wrong about your brother being in the army anyway?" Nate asked casually.
"Just the fact that he never would have told me." She said.
She smiled at him. "Well. Either way, try not to provoke him too much."
"He MAKES me provoke him." Nate said. "And it's actually fun seeing him angry." he smiled.
Lyra shook her head, grinning at Nate. "You really like to take risks. But fine then, but be warned- he's got a very short temper."
"That's a great warning." Nate said sarcastically. "Wow! I'll have to keep that in mind now."
Nate leaned against the wall of the building. "Even so, I'll stay clear of him for a few days."
"That would be advised," she smiled softly at him.
"Well," she said, looking up at the sky. There was no sun, as usual. Lyra had wondered what it once looked like.
"I was tginking..." Nate said "That we should go on an actual date." he looked at Lyra. "We haven't done that till now."
She looked at him. "I- I've never actually been on a date."
"Of course I know that." he said. "But, comeon. It'll be fun."
"Yeah. It will. Okay." She smiled at him.
"More ways to irk your brother." Nate said gleefully "I could hold a class on this!"
Lyra snorted. "And it would be so successful." She shook her head in amusement.
"Yeah. You're right." Nate said. He smiled. "What about this evening?"
((Sorry! Missed the notification))"It's a date then." Nate said smiling.
((It's alright))Lyra smiled at him and kissed his cheek. "Yes it is."
"We should go down to breakfast now." Nate said. "We've already missed dinner last night.
Nate smiled and held her hand. "Come on."
She took his hand and started walking with him.
They walked hand in hand, back towards the building.
Griffin walked around, he was board
Griffin sat down and didn't notice the guy sitting not that far from him
