I have more creative self-esteem in writing stories and speech-giving though. :3 lol

Drawing can drive me nuts at times because I'm 1/2 blind in my left eye, so things look different when you flip them... good thing there's a function in my drawing program on the computer that allows me to flip my picture so I can see it looks good either way.

Giulia My problem is I need to find time to write. I'm a teacher, and I love my work. But it's exhausting and requires a totally different head space than writing does. So I end up starting these stories--books even, and never fi dining them because I lose my groove as soon as I hit that scene that is hard to write. You know the scene I'm talking about. The one you don't want to write about.

So I need to find balance or something but I hate rigid routine in my day to day life. Any advice?

When I'm busy, I write when I eat. You always set a certain amount of time to eat everyday. That helps. I also get up an 1 or two hours earlier than I need to. But there are times, like right now when I haven't been able to fit much in because of school/health, its just trying to find those parts of the day when you realise you could be doing something else.

Giulia Writing while eating, lol Might work, I'll let you know. I read about setting aside a time to write but that has not been working. This week I maybe got in about an hour of writing. Not enough.

I did a blog about finding the time to write but I can't for the life of me remember what I wrote right now *sneezes*

Giulia You can remember the blog? Or your novel?

A good writing blog I found is www.thewritepractice.com

Kandie (kankan929) | 36 comments I work in accounting during the day, and all the rest of the time, I'm writing or designing. That's a lot of computer time which requires sitting/lounging and autonomy. I have to remember to take breaks for long days behind the monitor to get some activity in, exercise, and sometimes I go to public places (Panera Bread or Starbucks) to write and design, just to socialize more in between.

Pew pew http://biskyscribbles.com/index.php/2...

I have to find my perfect coffee shop. Coffees in this city are like 10 pound a go! Unless you want bitter water!

(thats like... 20 dollars I think?)
