There is this book that I've been looking for for years.the cover looks almost exactly like the cover for the Raider by Jude Devareux.The story is about this girl that gets abducted& is sold to a brothel. She takes a bath& men are looking through a peep hole because they are going to bid on her.This Duke wants her but some other Lord wins her.She falls in love, of course, with the guy who bought her. The Duke goes crazy towards the end of the book& it's discovered that the girl is really the Duke 's sister..which makes her a Duchess. It was really good...

That kind of sounds like Velvet Fire by Elsa Minger. I would have to dig it out and read it again to be sure. The covers are very similar.
