A place you can get a drink and some food.

Melli sat at one of the tables and waited for her dad to come back with her coffee. It wasn't opening time yet, but she was still there bright and early like always.

Mario walked in and sat at a table in the back. He wasn't sure if Yula would come, but it was worth a try.

Melli noticed someone walk in and walked up to him, "hello, can I get you anything?" she asked sweetly.

Yula had read Mario's text and wondered what was up; it had to be important since she told him she wasn't working today.
She headed to the bar.

"Just a beer,"Mario said.

Melli nodded and walked back to behind the counter to get him a beer.
Her dad had came back earlyer and was reading a newspaper in the corner.

Yula walked in and looked around. She spotted Mario and walked over to his table, she sat in the chair across from him, "what;s up?"

Melli came back and placed Mario's beer in front of him. She looked at Yula, "would you like anything?" she asked.

Yula looked up at her, "just water please."

Melli nodded and headed back to the counter.

Mario raised an eyebrow at Yula, he didn't remember a time when she refused a drink. "I'm curious about why you and Olli were at City Hall."He said taking a sip.

Melli walked back over and handed Yula her water, "just let me know if you want anything else," she told them with a smile and walked back to the counter.

Yula tried thinking on her feet, "we went out shopping. I thought I would stop by there and see if I could get any information," she told him, then drank some water, "I am a spy after all," she reminded him. "I was going to take her with me, then I realized she could blow my cover, even more so with her being so ill."

Mario put his drink down,"How did you know she was sick?"

"she told me," Yula looked at him funny, "are you alright?" she asked, "what's with all the questions?"

"In sight of some recent events,"He said meaning her nearly shooting Sam, "Excuse me for being worried."

"I'm sorry about that," she lied, looking down with a guilty look on her face, "I feel terrible.."

"Yula,"Mario said frowning,"I know you good enough, to tell when your lying."

Yula looked up at him, 'what about when I lied about that vision?' "I'm sorry.. I just don't like her.." she told him honestly.

Mario took a sip from his drink slowly. The last thing he needed was to get drunk in front of Yula.

Yula scanned his face, she was slightly surprised he didn't ask her why, "are we done here?" she asked, "I would like to go home and get some sleep."

"What did you learn from the mayor if you went there to spy?" Mario asked her ignoring her comment.

"he's planning on stealing Sam to get to you," she told him, not hesitating one bit. It was their old plan, so why not make Mario more protective over Sam and leave Olli wide open?

Mario's hands tightened, he scanned Yula face for a hint of a lie. But he was to busy thinking of Sam; it was like she made it hard for him to focus. "When?"

"They didn't say," she told him, shaking her head.

Mario sighed and stood up,"Come on were leaving,"

Yula arched her eyebrow, "where are we going?"

He placed some cash one the table,"Back to HQ,"He turned to her unless you want to go somewhere else?"

Yula shook her head, "no thanks."

Melli noticed Yula and Mario were leaving, "bye! Have a nice night!" she called with a warm smile.

Mario gave the girl a small smile and lead Yula away.

Ben parked in his regular spot and got out of the car. He walked around and helped Mizuna out then led her inside.
Melli saw Ben walk in the doors and ran up and hugged him. She pulled away, "how are you? You mom said you weren't feeling well?" She asked worried.
"I'm fine," Ben told her with a smile.
Melli looked beside him and saw a girl, she gasped with excitement, "Benny! You got a girlfriend!?" She hugged him again, "congrats!" She looked at Mizuna and smiled, "I'm Melli," she introduced herself and held out her hand to shake.

Mizuna looked at the girl. And to be honest, she was probably jealous. Of course she didn't know that that was what she was feeling, because she had never felt it before. She was jealous of how she hugged him, of how friendly she was and honestly... her freedom. Mizuna put on a tight smile and shook her hand delicately, before inclining her head. "Hello." She said.

Ben noticed Minzuna looked a bit stressed, "this is Mizuna," he told Melli.
Melli smiled, "it's nice to meet you!" She looked to Ben, "do you guys want anything to eat or drink?"
Ben nodded, "two usuals, a water and a light drink," he smiled.
Melli nodded and dashed to the counter.
Ben led Mizuna to a table and sat down, "I don't start work for a bit," he told her with a soft smile, "so I'm all your till then."

Mizuna nodded her head, as she sat down. She wasn't really hungry or thirsty. She just couldn't get over the fact that no matter what Ben did for her, she is and always would be a caged bird used for experiments and laughs and abuse.

Melli came and set a burger down in front of each of them. She set the water in front of Ben and the other drink in front of Mizuna. Melli pulled up another chair and sat on it back words and smiled.

Mizuna looked at the food a smiled a tight, tense, polite smile. "Thank you." She said, staring into Melli's eyes. She searched for her emotions there.

Melli smiled, "no problem!" She looked and hoped business would pick up soon, she had been bored all day.
Ben sipped his water and watched Mizuna, "you alright?"

Mizuna nodded her head, and ate a fry delicately, without looking at anything anymore, and chose to just stare at her food. "Fine." She responded, after she swallowed and then took another bite.

Two more people walked in and sat at the bar.
Melli jumped up, "yay! I'll be back in a bit!" She told them as she dashed to the counter.
Ben looked Mizuna over, "I can tell something's wrong.." He told her gently and reached across the table to hold her hand, "talk to me.."

Mizuna turned her head away. "I can't tell you...." She said softly. "It's disgusting of me." She added. "And unfair to you." Her hand didn't grasp his, but didn't move her hand either. The other one was clenched in her lap so tightly, that her nails were digging into her palms, causing her to bleed.

Ben moved to the chair next to her and hugged her, "your not disgusting, I love you," he admitted and blushed. He pulled away so he could look her in the eye, "now what's wrong?"

Mizuna looked at him at that. "Y-you what?" She stuttered. She shook her head viciously, and stared into his eyes. "I'm just..." She hesitated, afraid that if she admitted her thoughts, he'd regret everything, and send her right back to where she most likely truly belonged.

Instead of answering her question, he kissed her deeply. He didn't care who watched him do it ether.
When he finally pulled away, he looked into her eyes and kept his face close to hers, "please tell me what's bothering you," he requested in a soft tone, "maybe I can help."

Mizuna was shocked for a moment, before she closed her eyes and kissed him back, breathing heavily when he pulled back. She kept her eyes closed as she finally spoke her woes. (Hah, I feel smarticle~ xD) "I'm just jealous of Melli..." She said quietly, ashamed.

Ben didn't blame her, Melli did hug him and was close to him. He touched her face softly, "it's okay to be jealous, but Melli is just a friend," he told her softly, "I promise."

Mizuna shook her head. "That's not just it." She responded, but leaned into his touch. "It's her freedom."

Ben looked at her confused, "but your free too now.."

Mizuna pulled back and turned her head away again. "I'm sorry... I know I make no sense... and it really just isn't worth explaining." She added.

Pain flew threw Ben as she pulled away. He kissed her neck gently, "it's okay, I promised I'd help you get out; this is just the first step," he whispered, "I'll help you, even if it kills me."

Mizuna fought with herself, to not fling herself into his arms and break down right there. She wished that she could explain it. It wasn't that she was afraid of the government. It was her own soul. She would never be able to be a 'normal, free' person. Ever.

He moved a strand if hair out of her face and kissed her forehead, "try to relax a little, your safe here," he promised. He picked up one if her fries and ate it and smiled playfully.

Mizuna blushed and nodded her head. "When do you start work?" She asked softly.
