Reconstructing Amelia discussion

What was Dylan's "illness"? Did she have Asperger's? I felt like it wasn't really explained why Zadie had such control over her, and why she so easily abandoned Amelia.

It might have been Asperger's or a mild case of Autism.

It was totally unbelievable that she would be seen as this enigma figure. Sadly in the real world of bitchy girls she'd probably have been labelled as 'weird'instead. Just one of my many quibbles with this book!

When I read this book , i imagined Dylan as Selena van der woodsen , because they're both stupid girls, but hot and queen bee... that makes sense , doesn't it?

I read in a few reviews that this book touched on the topic of autism. Not once did I see the word mentioned in the book but I'll assume this was Dylan's illness. I picture her as a younger, rosier and auburn haired mischa barton.

Side note: what exactly was the point of liv..besides being the writer of gracefully? I wasn't sure where the author was going and expected her to be reprimanded for something...I felt she was the only loose end in the book. (Or did I miss something)?

OMG the actors chosen are sooo perfect!! And definitely Roberts for Zadie. Also, yeah, the only loose end was definitely Liv, although it was probably meant to be a red herring type thing. Still, should've followed up on it more. Either way, so obsessed with this book. And, yes, I was thinking autism or a seizure disorder, with her staring off randomly.
