Time Travel discussion

I've recently started watching and enjoying Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. But it only took a couple of episodes before I was trying to figure out how Summer Glau's character in Firefly (River Tam) and her robot character in The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Cameron Phillips) could be related. Both were trained for combat with perfect reflexes, both have a vast store of knowledge, and both have social issues. The robot predates the real live girl version in Firely. So did the scientists who experimented with River's brain implant information from Cameron? Could these 2 really be part of the same universe? Thoughts? Any Firefly fans out there?

oooh, I think River is Cameron, but reincarnated. I would have said they froze Cameron and then woke her for Firfly, but we saw too many episodes of Firefly with childhood scenes of River.

... & maybe River Tam is named after River Song!
