What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book about 5 years ago and I remember that I loved it. It is from a series of book and has a few different stories in it but they are all connected. The main characters have devil names, satan is the father and damon and Lucifer are his sons. They have wings but not everybody in the book does. Everybody is born with a magic colored gem and when they grow up they make an offering to the darkness and get a new gem with more power, the darker the gem the more power. Please help this is driving me crazy!!!

Look at the world of The Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop:

Daughter of The Blood
Heir to the Shadows
Queen of the Darkness

According to Wikipedia there are two short story collections:

Dreams Made Flesh
Twilight's Dawn

There are also other sequels (I read the first one) but the trilogy is a complete story. I wasn't sure whether you're looking for the series or one of the collections.
