Hi guys, I'm getting ready to release The Necromancer's Gambit, and would love to start getting opinions on it, and reviews lined up.
Here's the synopsis:
Knight, the sheriff of the local magical government, or “the Gambit,” is called to recover a mutilated body, tainted with magic and dumped at a popular haunt. When the corpse is identified as a close associate of the Gambit, he suspects a larger conspiracy threatening the fragile peace amongst the city's magic-wielding factions. As more bodies fall, Knight finds himself fighting for the lives of those he cares about.
Other general information:
The Necromancer's Gambit is approximately 100,000 words, and is the first in a planned series. I have begun work on the sequel, but there's no date for publication, as yet. The Necromancer's Gambit is a bit film noir inspired, but features a lot of humor and quirk. Some parts of it walk the line toward horror, and may be a bit dark for some readers.
It's set to release September 23rd, but so long as your review can be posted a week or two before Halloween, I don't care about the timing. Message me if you want to give it a read, and let me know your email and preferred file format.
