Sarah | 5 comments The evil toys are evil because they were stuffed with sawdust instead of cotton (or something soft). I remember a big teddy bear, and some marionettes, and one of the evil toys was named (I think) Charon. Probably read it around 1995, and I'm pretty sure it was fairly new at that time. The illustrations were beautiful but often a little dark. Appropriate for ages 9-11 maybe? Any help is great, thanks.
