As I've just set up my own book blog called Be More Book , I just wondered how many of our lovely book group people have their own book blogs? How do you approach blogging? What do you love and hate about it. Do you have any advice to a newbie blogger?

Share links to your blogs and we can all take a look! :)

Yay! Welcome to the wonderful world of book blogging! <3 Make sure to add the Google Friend Connect widget so people can easily follow you (or use www.bloglovin.com - I use it to read all the blogs I follow and it makes things so much easier).

My blog is Rinn Reads. =)

Douglas (douglascfisher) | 34 comments I'm a moderately new book blogger (it'll be six months in October). Not a whole lot of followers or anything. The hardest thing I've been coping with is feeling the need to update even when I have nothing to say. I have one or two of those "I still exist" type posts in there. Now I'm at a point where I think, so what if I only post once a week, no big deal!

Just keep it fun for you.

I'm at The Dork Portal

I suppose I should add that I'm a sometimes book blogger. I also talk movies and whatever other nonsense comes to mind. But I got into this group via talking with Rinn through our blogs.

Shannon (conflicteddesires) I'm a rather newbie blogger myself. Started in late July and only have two reviews up so far due to crazy life shenanigans. I think the hardest bit is I keep having to look up HTML stuff because I'm illiterate in that sense... But my blog does look a lot more put together than it did initially! Just added a Bloglovin link to it too.

I'm at novelreflection.wordpress.com

Anya (starsanddragons) | 10 comments Hey all, I just wanted to let my fellow sci-fi and fantasy bloggers know that I've started a new feature aiming to link up as many sf/f reviews and giveaways as we can manage so it'd be great if you'd join in :D http://www.onstarshipsanddragonwings....

message 8: by Nara (new)

Nara (greengp01) Welcome to the blogosphere Kirsty! I think you've actually commented on my blog already; I recognise the name haha. My blog's called Looking for the Panacea

I've been blogging for about a year now, and the only bit of advice I'd have for newer bloggers would be not to put too much pressure on yourself. A lot of bloggers seem to have this expectation of themselves to post every day (not even sure why) and then get burnt out and in a blogging slump. I personally have never been in that sort of slump, and I think that's because I don't really mind if I there are times when I don't post.

Anyway, hope the blogging goes well for you :)

What have you posted on your blog recently? My post today is part of my regular Fantasy Friday feature, and today I'm discussing The Hobbit movies. Feel free to join in the discussion!

Alan Denham (alandenham) | 36 comments Sorry, Guys and Gals, the blogosphere has pretty well left me behind - I put the occasional review on Goodreads, but apart from that I can't even keep my author page on Goodreads updated! Too many other hobbies, plus small amounts of 'real life' - it all gets in the way!

Thats what new year enthusiasm leads to. I see Company of Liars on your Historical Fiction list and would highly recommend it as one of my favourite reads of the last few years. I read a spinoff novella this year and it brought back great memories of the book.

Its worth it ☺I'm a Maitland fan and this is by far her best book. The characters are brilliant

Hi Paul

How do you get that smiley in Goodreads message?

message 23: by Paul, A wanderer in unknown realms (new)

Paul | 3571 comments Mod
My keyboard on my phone gives a smiley option. :)

message 24: by Cris (new)

Cris (crisperchicklet) I have a tiny book blog through tumblr here: http://owlsincardigans.tumblr.com mostly just for fun and self enjoyment. It's not much to look at, but I hope to really use it more in the future.

message 25: by Joey (new)

Joey (mostlyjoe) | 178 comments Kinda. I write a blog about roleplaying games and the books after a fashion.
