Zane, is the youngest Prince of Illea. yet he is also the tallest and also appears to be the oldest. Ah well, more ladies for him. Zane stands at six feet, higher than his brothers and an inch below his father. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and with that description you imagine some boring old Prince. But no, this is Zane, one of the most attractive males you've ever seen. His hair is a dark brown, but it's full of volume and is also rather soft! His eyes are pretty basic though, the only quality they have worth mentioning is that they truthfully show his emotions. If you're lucky, you'll get to see him smile, and that visual is quite extraordinary. Zane tends to be found in various suits, or a casual yet professional-looking outfit.

▹ Fake af, pretends to be someone he's not

Zane, is fake. No, I don't mean fake as in, talking behind your back and then telling you he loves you. More like, pretending to be someone he's not. Zane can be his own person, but most of the time, he's someone else. He's very formal and calm, not saying much. And while it's okay, and it makes him look like he'd be the better King, no one wants someone who isn't himself. Someone who doesn't stand up for what they believe in, or someone who does things they don't really want to do because they are someone else. The actual Zane, if you're lucky enough to have met him, is awesome. He has a good sense of humor and is very kind though he is kind when both real and fake. Zane doesn't get nervous or flustered easily, and can actually be a bit of a rebel himself when it comes to something's. If you're lucky enough to have him love you, or maybe just like you, you'll see the real Zane. But maybe you never will. Zane is a bit inexperienced when it comes to girls, even though he's pretty hot. He caught their hints and everything, he just never followed through. Now he's sixteen, one of the hottest people on the planet, and pure. So, will you be the one to take him? Or are you just going to admire him from afar...?

The last Prince of Illea--or, what everyone thought would be the last Prince, but Aric had other ideas--was born along with his sister, Princess Lillian. Twas a simple birth, nothing too big or anything. There was the oddness of Zane, who stayed mute for three days while Lilly was full of happiness, but life went on. He learned to talk, his first word being "Hello" and he learned to crawl. Eventually he learned to walk, and then he was unstoppable. Rosabella had moments where she questioned the entire world, as her son never seemed to get tired. Except, once he was tired, he was very tired and slept for a very long time. Zane was happy and fun, full of energy and this "spunk" all the little boys in Illea wished they possessed. It was the way he was, a generally liked person. He liked attention and he liked to make people smile. He liked when people talked to him or looked at him, and in return for them doing so he'd make them smile or laugh. In fact, Zane made the entire country laugh. But then, it all ended. He got quieter, and he said fewer jokes. Everyone wondered what went wrong and why he suddenly changed. Why Zane went from everyone's friend to someone who just sat there. His siblings, his friends, even his own mother couldn't get it out of him why he was so different. But it was who he was. Zane had changed, and maybe, not for the better. He had changed mainly because he saw the person he was. He stuck out, in the sea of royals. He was an absolute clown, with the shoes and big red nose. While his brother was also very funny, he was at least a royal who could play the part. So, Zane decided he’d play the part too. He closed off his family, turning into a man of few words. He still spoke to them and participated in events, just quieter. He did what he was asked of, and didn't ask for much in return. It was debated whether Zane would be betrothed or not, but Aric refused to have his son married to some girl he had never met. So, life continued. Sure, Zane met loads of girls and they all made impressions on him. Hell, some tried to get him to kiss them or follow them to do what ever it was they wanted to do. But, he never did so. Now he is sixteen, and Oli is having his selection. So, is he just going to stand there and look hot, or is the pure Prince going to do something?

avalon looks just as exotic as she sounds. while yes, she isn't the prettiest, and she certainly isn't some tall supermodel, that doesn't mean she isn't attractive. avalon is rather short, standing only at 5'2", and with her small build and thin figure she weighs only one hundred seventeen. of course she can thank her caste for this, keeping her skinny and all. there are some subtle curves however, though she doesn't believe big breasts or a big butt should be the way to a man's heart. avalon has long dark hair, which is on the verge of curly but mainly wavy. hey eyes are also nothing special, big and a shade of brown. her little nose sits on her face just above her lips, which hide a rather charming smile. her teeth are mainly pointed, giving her the nickname "kitty" when she was younger. but that's pretty much it. she's just another average.

♡║ much like the fairy tale Princess she was named after, briar, avalon is good and kind. most of the time, avalon won't even think about being mean to you, mainly because she'd need a pretty good reason. but, if she has a good reason, i suggest you be nicer, as if needed, she can be very cruel. avalon doesn't like it when people are mean. a trait many people tend to notice about avalon is that she is very calm. she doesn't stress out easily, thinking that tend to be other things that people should stress about. even then, avalon works well under pressure and stress. avalon at times however be very enthusiastic and perky, making her seem very childish at times. and while that isn't very princess-like, it can just be added to the list. after all, avalon isn't very intelligant either, not being educated properly. but at least she has manners, right?

♕║ the third child to the cade's, avalon was born on august tweleth. two more children were born following her, a pair of twins. her parents were sixes, and had five kids in hopes one of them would become successful and bring the family up at least a caste. her mother was a waitress and her father was a driver. they were constantly out working, trying to earn enough money to keep the family alive. because of this, and education avalon has been given has been from her older sister and brother, who are only two and three years older than her.
once you hit the age of six, you began working. so, one by one, there was one less child in the house. first went ronan, then went serenity. and before she knew it, avalon was next. her brother had became a housekeeper, and would then produce the career of bein a driver. her sister went off to be a waitress, but would soon be studying how to cook. next was avalon, and she would have to choose. to avoid having to think about it, avalon busied herself with her younger siblings, aries and v. of course, she couldn't avoid it forever. avalon asked her parents what were her options, and they told her. she ended up between two: seamstress, and a maid. she wanted to go work in the palace. she was actually going to become a maid too, had it not been for and episode of The Report. her whole family was watching it, a rare moment when they were all together. avalon had been thinking about how nice all the royals looked, in their pretty dresses and suits. suddenly, that became the topic of conversation, and Queen Rosabella was talking about how great the royal seamstress was. avalon turned to her parents almost immeditately. "thats what seamstresses do?" she had asked, her eyes wide with both awe and curiosity. and her parents nodded. so that's when she knew.
it didn't take long for avalon to fall in love with it all. her parent's found this sweet woman in town who owned her own seamstress buisness, and willingly took on avalon. and so, life was good.
we will now skip through years of memories, going from the age of six to thirteen. it all starts with the building. on her way to work, which is a good mile and a half away, avalon always walks by this building. it's cute, not that old, and just kind of emptily sitting there. empty. one day, avalon decided to take a peak inside. and then she accidentally fell in love with it. she begged and begged her parents to let her have it. and eventually, she got it. avalon started her own buisness, and became a dress maker. at first she had few customers, only a couple of fives and a six or two, but after a while, she began earning a lot of recognition. fours, three's, even twos became her usuals. not only was avalon always busy, doing what she loved, but she wsa earning quite a profit as well, her family benifitting greatly. but, as fun as it was, a two wearing her dress on the red carpet was not enough. she wanted her work to be on a one.
the news of the selection spread quickly. and her parents were overjoyed. they had three daughters that fit the age requirments after all. they all went and got their picture taken, but avalon had been choosen. but her sister's didn't care, as they had no intrest in marrying the prince anyways. and so, they sent her off, hoping she'd win. ; bold time skips

an adorable little thing, grace is very unique when it comes to her appearance. though she looks much younger than her actual age, grace is still not that bad when it comes to looks. unlike many, grace has naturally tanned skin that doesn't burn easily in the sunlight. she has big, dark eyes full of wonder, surrounded by dark lashes. grace has some seriously curly hair, a big mess of darkness on her head. those are all nice qualities, but many people tend to favor her smile. it's nice, with big teeth that are the only things that show. her eyes crinkle up at the corners, and if she's laughing her shoulders jump and her eyes close, and long story short--you're gonna love it.

♡║ grace is a very loving girl, very fond of life. she's overall very happy, not seeing much to be sad about. she can be very energetic and childish at times, but this is due to the loss of her actual childhood. in order to make up for lost time, she lives it now. of course, along with this comes along the fact that she is very innocent. don't get me wrong, it's not bad or anything, you're just going to doubt she did anything wrong. now onto how she would be with relationships. like any other fifteen-year-old, she has raging hormones. and while that is true, she's easily flustered. it's pretty cute if you ask me. other than that, there's not much to mention. grace values her life, and the life of those around her. she tries not to get mad at people and instead channels any feelings she has into an adventure. while she does value her life, she does make many impulsive and dangerous decisions. now, i'm not saying she's dangerous... you should just watch out. she has her father's anger.

♕║ “once upon a time, a maid fell for a guard. their love was strong, the kind people wished for. and then they had a baby. and it all changed. the baby was born on april sixteenth and they named her grace to symbolize all the goodness she had brought them. perhaps this would continue on the adorable path, except, it won't. the maid, a six, was thrilled. she'd become a two, right? wrong. the guard have seemed happy, but he actually wasn't. he had just been fooling around with the poor woman, using her for sex. in return she gave him a child, and he wanted nothing to do with her after a week. so, the maid had just raised her with the help of her parents. the baby was mainly raised by her grandparents, an adorable couple in the sixth caste. they worked some, but still managed to keep track of the little one. all was well, and life was great. the little girl liked her grandparents, but she wished she could spend more time with her mother. but, her mother was a palace maid, frequently gone. but, i—i mean, the girl—wanted to join her mom and work with her. so, she began working. it took time, but eventually, the young girl, ten at the time, was close. she would be invited to the palace any day now. she just knew it. that was until they got sick. her grandparents, they had gotten sick. i-i didn't know what happened. they were just so sick, and i didn't know how to help them. and next thing you know... i didn't need to. you're probably wondering where my mother was during all of this, and frankly, i have no clue. because not even a week later, she was knocking on the doorstep. i remember it was raining, late at night. knock, knock, knock. personally, it looked like she was on drugs. eyes bloodshot, hair a mess, her skin much paler than usual. she couldn't stop shaking, then she couldn't stop throwing up. i knew it was all over once i saw red. the best part? i got invited to the palace the very next day. and considering what my current situation looked like(it looked like a path straight to caste eight) i figured, why not? life's been... well, it's been. there're good days, and bad days; it's just been. but that's a story for another time.

dangerous. there's your one word explanation for Aurora. she's a pretty dangerous girl, but not because of anything deadly. well, it can be deadly, for some. people die of heartbreak sometimes. and Aurora, she's a heartbreaker. while she does think of others feelings and such, she just can't seem to help herself. while she may seem uninterested, give her a moment. she'll open up. and then proceed onto flirting. Aurora can't seem to keep herself to just one person, always wanting to try something new. she’ll use whatever she has, intelligence, beauty, or just plain out manipulating you to get in bed with her. while she is very skilled at manipulating, and she is beautiful, Aurora actually is intelligent. after all, you can’t just sleep your way into such a position-- well, you can, but at one point someone is going to ask you a question, and you’ll have to show that you are intelligent. Aurora tends to follow others and prefers to let them take the lead and just kind of build off their ideas. the only time she doesn’t do this, is when she is leading them to the bed, otherwise she’s a follower.

ɴ. S T O R Y ; an account of past events in someone's life

born just as november twenty-first began, Aurora has always been a bit of a night owl. Aurora was the third and last child of the Richard’s, and also the only daughter. Aurora was born a two, her parent’s both politicians. her childhood was simple and great, filled with things she asked for, education and the occasional fights with her older brothers. there really isn’t much worth mentioning in Aurora’s life, as it was quite basic and simple. well, until she became the person she was today. at the age of fifteen, Aurora overheard her older brother’s, who were twins, discussing something in their room. she was interested, and so she listened. they were talking about the party they had gone to the night before, and how the women were great. and well, Aurora was a bit intrigued. what kind of situation would allow seventeen-year-olds to have sex? Aurora at this point became very interested in her brothers. she asked to go everywhere with them and hung out with them constantly. and so, they became very close. and, it paid off. a year later, her brother’s were invited to a party at the same location, and Aurora asked them to take her. and they did. and that’s the story of how a sixteen-year-old lost her virginity thanks to her brothers. like most humans, Aurora enjoyed it. she wanted to do it again, and so her mind then focused on boys. it wasn’t too hard to get a boyfriend, as she was already pretty. but there was a bit of a problem. Aurora kept going to other guys. she’d get with them, do what she wanted to do, and then move on with her life, not letting men get in the way of her dream occupation. It was and interesting life at the time, and still to this day it is still interesting, and still the same. except, you know, one day she got involved with girls and now she can’t meet a person without wondering how they are in bed.

   [ T ] ʀᴇʏ ɪs ᴛʜᴇ ᴋɪɴᴅ ᴏғ person you wish would be a higher caste. you wish he wasn't a footman, so he wouldn't be a six, so he could be something else and you could marry him. of course, none of this is trey's fault, it was all genetics. not that he's complaining of course. he has tan skin the color of rich caramel, eyes the color of chocolate, and even his hair is another shade of brown, but very dark and seemingly black. he is 5'9 and has a rather athletic build. he isn't the most intimidating person, looking more friendly than others. and then, of course, there's the fact that he smells like chocolate.

  [ V ] ᴇʀʏ ᴄᴏᴍɪᴄᴀʟ ᴀɴᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴀɴ inability to be serious, trey is interesting to say the least. he is very funny, and he tends to have a friendly, inviting smile on his face that just makes you want to go up and introduce yourself. trey can't help it, and tends to make jokes to break the ice, or the awkward silence, of the seriousness, or--well, he makes jokes for just about every situation you could think of. he can also be a bit of a flirt, which can be both good if you like him, or possibly annoying if he really likes you and you don't feel the same way. trey tends to give off mixed messages when it comes to girls, making many believe he is interested when he is actually not. trey is a generally relaxed person, but within an instant he can like a guard, surveying the area for anything out of the ordinary. but, of course, that is only when needed, otherwise trey is most likely making someone laugh.

  [ I ] ᴛ ᴡᴀs ᴀ ʙᴇᴀᴜᴛғᴜʟ sɴᴏᴡʏ day over in allens when the second child to the araham's was born. born into the sixth caste, following a girl three years older and being followed by three more children, life was like a McDonald's cheeseburger. both good and bad. sure, being a six meant you were struggling to get through the day. who knows when you'd get the next meal, or when you'd be warm again. but, trey and his family made life what they could. at a young age, trey noticed the fact that his family tended to be unhappy, for various reasons. his parent's and older sister were exhausted from working, his younger sister were cold and his brothers were hungry. so, trey took it upon himself to make them all happier. at the time he was only five, and unable to do much work, so he made jokes. at first they were small little things, bringing a smile on the other's face, but not too long after he began, their small home was alive. alive with laughter and smiles. trey had started joking around, and the rest of his siblings and even his parent's joined in. and pretty soon, their family was happy. it was nice to know after work you could come home and have a good laugh. and you didn't remember you were hungry because your stomach was hurting from laughing. and how could you be cold when your body was working so hard to contain your laughter and keep you breathing. and that was his life for a while. yeah, he joined his sister in working, helping clean houses, and soon his younger siblings did as well. once he was twelve, his sister left to be a maid at the castle. she said it was better that way, and it was, as they got more money. but, even through the age gap, he was closer to her than he was anyone else. so, when he too turned 15, he saw the palace was asking for a footman. and, he became that footman. both for his family to receive more money, and to see his sister. life was good once again, seeing his sister and getting fed, living in a warm house and flirting with maids. that was, until a rebel attack. a southern rebel attack. he was fine, and so were his friends. but, he hadn't seen his sister. after the attack he went looking for her, but he couldn't find her. that's when he received news from a guard. she had died, trying to get a child to the safe room. the child was safe, but she, was not. that was two years ago, and while trey is used to her disappearance and not seeing her, he misses her dearly.

David, is, i'm not going to lie, an attractive guy. he has a jawline that threatens to break up the continents, and always seems to have facial hair, giving him a look that is both caveman and future millionaire, making him look casual. He kind of has a big nose, ruining the image but David also has dark brown eyes, usually full of something his face lacks, and a pair of lips that have you questioning any relationships you already have. a full head of hair and a body well in shape, makes him look like he's young even though his facial features make him look older, all at the same time. but, you can't get everything now, can you?

  [ H ] e, is a very intriguing person. you tend to meet him and then once it's over, you find yourself wanting to know more. David can be a man of few words at times. he likes to leave people wondering and prefers having no one hear his voice. Sure, sometimes he's flirts with people, but it's mainly for the sake that he wants to get in bed with you. And, he usually gets what he asks for. David could be caring, if he wanted to, but he doesn't let anyone stick around long enough to find out, so who knows if he could be caring. He doesn't mind telling others bad news, and no matter what kind of news you tell him, it seems as though he really doesn't care. A bit upsetting I know, but there's nothing I can do.   [ L ] ong ago, over two decades, the first child was born in the Chase family. Literally. Oldest in his immediate family, and the oldest cousin, oldest of them all. David loved everyone. His parents and siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins—all of them. Fuck the castes and the boundaries, if you were a Chase, he loved you. He grew up loved by many, and received a great education. He always liked helping people, especially the younger ones—he even taught one of his younger cousins to walk—and was known to be helpful. As David aged, the family expanded, and he even got two siblings. He was a great student and everything seemed to be going well. And it did. Until he was about twenty-one. David and his entire family went to stay in this hotel, so they could all be together and hang out. Even the members from lower castes came, richer family members paying for them. David was downstairs, watching tv in a lounge when the fire alarm blared. David would have left, but he couldn't, not with the know.edge of his family upstairs. David, who was seven floors away, bounded up the stairs, the building breaking into flames. Smoke poisoned any air, and David was still three floors away. His body was giving up on him, and he couldn't breathe. He began descending at one point, his body trying to save him. All he remembers is seeing a firefighter at the bottom of a flight of stairs before he went unconscious. David woke up months later from a coma. Lack of oxygen plus the head injury from the stairs didn't do him well. But, that wasn't the worst part. The worst part wasn't that he missed a good part of his life because of a coma. No, it was the news he had received after he awoke. That big family? All of them were gone. The Chases, a family people wished they could be apart of, was wiped out, and there wasn't a single one left. No, David was still alive. And that was it. Everyone David liked had been taken from him, and he became more independent. He suddenly found himself in a position he didn't know about, but he got used to it. David couldn't bare it anymore however, and left the province for Angles were he became a nurse at the palace. And now he lives a new life, his past behind him.

   [ F ] or a girl who's called a name generally for boys, Stevie is actually very pretty. I admit she isn't the tallest girl around, and yeah, she has a different look to herself than other girls, but that doesn't mean her unique image isn't something that a person wouldn't find attractive. Her eyes are more almond shaped than circular, so basically an oval on its side. She's got this little nose that she sometimes scrunched up and uses to make faces at you. Her smile's cute, a little lopsided but also nice in a sort of refreshing way. Like I said, she isn't tall and stands at 5'3, with fair skin. She smells mainly of mint, both because of the shampoo and soap, but also because she's constantly chewing gum. And, word of advice, don't mention her body or weight. It's not that bad, and she isn't fat or anything. She just... doesn't take the topic easily.

  [ J ] ust your average, sweet looking, most likely nice girl with what you hope is a good sense of humor. That's what Stevie looks like, right? It's okay, your kind of right. She's pretty sweet, and she is pretty nice, and yeah, she does have a nice laugh. But that's just it when it comes to humans. There's layers. Like, Stevie doesn't get upset easily, but once she is, she can be pretty cruel. Or, she's super clueless when it comes to someone hitting on her. Literally. She's not going to know until you go in for the kill. And then, the layer hidden so deep, she doesn't even realize how horrible it is. Stevie, is bulimic. She suffers from bulimia, an eating disorder in which you go through cycles of binging, eating a lot, and purging, which is getting rid of it. Stevie eats all her meal, and then the desert. And possibly will get seconds. Of both courses. And then she'll snack all through the night. Then, before bed, she'll force herself to vomit. And she'll keep going, until the scale tells her the weight that she wants to see. And your probably wondering why, but that'll be in the next section. While troubled, Stevie is still a generally good person. She's nice to strangers, she makes stupid jokes to break the ice, and she isn't a bitch unless you make her one. And she knows how to keep secrets. Who doesn't like a person who hears everything and keeps it to themselves?

  [ B ] orn to fours, Stevanna was destined for greatness. Her mother was a popular, popular chef. Hell, she could've been a two had she filed for it. She was basically a celebrity. Her father on the other hand was a simple farmer. He and her mother were in good shape, but at a young age Stevie was a bit on the chubby side. She just loved eating, especially her mom's food. It was what made her want to be a chef. Her mother was over joyed, and her father liked that too. He just, didn't want her to be so fat. She was a bit overweight for her age, and you could tell she wasn't like the others because at school she didn't run as much. Her father started feeding her less in efforts to make her loose weight. She was constantly starving, but her mother was always working, so there was to much she could do. Technically, it was the equivalent of being anorexic. Add that too the fact that when she wasn't learning to cook her father had her doing work in the farm. So, a lot less food plus physical activity equals a thinner Stevie. And her mother? Well, she figured Stevie was hitting puberty and loosing all that baby fat. Stevie began sneaking food around. She was just a bit hungry, so a little snack would hurt anyone, right? At first, it was just harmless snacking, but eventually Stevie was eating a lot of food secretly again. Her father had stopped forcing her to eat less, and she ate normal amounts at dinner. But what about after dinner? What about after she made herself another dinner? And after she snacked and snacked? She'd feel bad, so she'd get rid of it. Stevie would take two fingers, shove it down her throat, and throw up until there was nothing left. At first it was just a night a week. Then a couple nights a week. But then, next thing you know it was daily. Sometimes more than once a day. Stevie constantly chews gum to cover up the scent of throw up, but if anyone bothers to pay attention you could tell she snacks a lot during the day. Being a sous chef for the palace is a high honor, and Stevie is glad to have it. She just wishes she was skinnier.

█┊► much like james bond, is calm, cool, and collected. she tends to not over react,and even if she does react, don't expect it to be anything too big. that is, unless you just told her something awesome. then april might freak out. april has a good sense of humor, often joking around in a sarcastic tone. she's very confident, and isn't afraid to say what she thinks, whether it be a rude comment within a joke or perhaps just speaking her thoughts. april isn't indecisive, always knowing what she wants and knowing how to get it done. because of this, along with her respectful behavior, april fits the role of leader greatly, and that's what she tends to be anyways. at one point in her life, april had let her emotions run wild, being as enthusiastic as she wanted to be. she still can be, just not as much as always. she's only like that in front of her sisters. speaking of which, april can be just like the both of them. at times she can be more serious like may, but sometimes she can be more impulsive like june. this usually ends up with her calculating risks, her impulse to do one thing, and as she's about to do it her mind calculates it all to make sure she won't die. and it usually turns out just fine, so there's no problem with that system. april is also easily jealous, usually thinking that something is hers, not anyone else's. but even then, her calm exterior may not let her jealously leak out, so you would never know how she feels.

I don't have time, nor the patience, to just say everything that has happened to me. anyways, I was born on a cold day in december, on the fourteenth to be exact. at the time, my famil was simply my mother, father, and my older brother, august. then came me and my two sisters. i was first out of the womb, followed by may and then june. it went well, and my father played with me and my siblings until he had to go to work, and then my mom would care for us. i noticed that they seemed to argue a whole lot, but as a young child, I didn't question it.
by the time I could walk and talk, I welcomed my younger brother, winter into the world. and well, things got worse. truthfully I don't understand what the problem was. my father was always so anger, but he was the one getting her pregnant? if it's such a problem then stop with all the sex, gosh damn. now, things were still going well. yeah, money was tight, but they were still a family. and then, the bastard got her pregnant again and he freaked. once again, it was all his fault, but hey. do what you want. anyways, long story short, he walked out. and that was that.
it was a boy, in case you were wondering. his name was river. now, lucky for him, he never had the pleasure of meeting our bastard of a father. but here's the thing: without our dad, we barely had money. in fact, the fact that we all woke up the very next day was miraculous. we all counted on august to support the family, as my younger siblings and i were much too young to do anything. putting all the pressure on him was hard--I wanted to help. I wanted to do something. and so, I did. I put myself under the servant's position and did anything people asked. cleaned their room, garden their plants, anything I could do to help. i admit it was a dangerous decision, as when you're a servant you can't deny requests, meaning someone could have easily raped me. but hey, that's why you go to the families that. are obviously in love. I didn't earn much from it, but whatever I did went straight to august.
i did this for a few years before I stopped. while we still needed the money, I didn't still need to wait on people. and instead, I illegally taught. many sixes can't afford education, and even then, many parents are too busy working. same with castes under and even some fives. so, I figured, why don't I teach them? I'm pretty intelligent, and then I have some school books, so I did. and let me tell you, after a month, parents were grateful. they came in the morning, on their way to work and would drop the little one off, and then they'd come back later off, and pay a small fee. but a lot of the times, parents paid me more, due to them thinking it costed more since their children were getting smarter. I didn't question it. and so, I gave August my share at the end of the week.
thank god for may. had it not been for her, life wouldn't have been so swell. she was the one who found the job for august. she saw them asking for a footman, and august nearly jumped at the opportunity. the parting was hard, but the money he made was so much more. and then, august saw the opening for some royal maids. it was a tough decision, wondering if I should really leave my younger brothers and all the kids. but, I decided to go. my brothers need the money, and the kids needed to follow their dreams and go be what they wanted to be--within their caste of course. so we left, and I became a royal maid for princess mari. so, what's your story?

Zander can also be pretty stubborn and he usually won't change his mind. at times he can be pretty quiet, which isn't the best, but that's okay. there's really not much else to say about this guy, except that you should totally consider dating his ass. just keep in mind he can get quite jealous.

♕║ "well there isn't much to say, but I guess I could tell you if you'd like to know. it all started not too long ago, on a warm summer's day. August fifteeth to be exact. a woman was in labor for what seemed like forever before she had her baby, but she couldn't have been happier. the baby had a good life ahead, born a four and an only child. he essentially had nothing to complain about. growing up was easy and simple for me. and quick, don't forget quick. i was an only child(at the time), so i tended to be the main focus in my parent's lives, besides their jobs. my father was a head chef for a popular restaurant and my mother was the owner of a hotel chain, so i guess you could say we had a couple of dollars or two. at a young age i was introduced to parties, and i loved them. especially the big ones. they were so much fun, and there was so much you can do—especially when no one was watching. and maybe that's why my first kiss came to me at the age of eight, but who knows. by the time high school rolled around, i basically was prepared to leave already. see, a lot of people were excited to have all these 'high school experiences', but me? well, i already had them. but no worries, i busied myself with parties on the weekends. it was going well. my parents were getting kind of bored with me, as all they seemed to care about was whether or not i was going to follow into one of their footsteps, so they had invested in having my younger sister. once i graduated high school, i decided to go be a guard instead. so i went off, and now i am here, living an okay life. i've been here for a bit, trying to be comfortable with my new surroundings, but now i have to admit i'm kind of bored. now, not trying to sound weird, but i had quite a few girlfriends in my past. it was nice, but i never felt that one connection with anyone, you know? eh, just hoping i meet them soon."

⇢ no, Vince is not crazy. he's fine really. there are just some... things that make him a little different from you average twenty-two-year-old man. like how he will go one a rampage if someone were to give him weapons in the Illean castle. Or how he cries when he sees cats. mainly because it all reminds him of his sister, whom he misses more than he loves his entire family combined. he's really nothing without her, and a part of him died along with him. he used to wonder why no one liked Illea. but now he understands.

⇢ Vince earned a very good education, as he spent most of his childhood in Illea and received the best education possible. Vince was already naturally intelligent, and he picks things up very quickly. He also has a very good memory, which is both good and bad. Vince doesn't really ever have to go up against math problems, just stupid people, so his intelligence doesn't really go up anymore, but he doesn't see a reason for it too. he spends most of his time exploring anyways. that's another reason why he's intelligent. he's just so curious, if he doesn't know something, he'll figure it out.

⇢ mainly in front of strangers, but even in front of some other people he's known for quite some time. it's a trait he's had since birth, making him a bit more quiet. this causes him to appear a lot more different from the band of rebels, but it's also very good. if you see a quiet guy out in the streets, you're not going to assume it's a rebel, correct? he's very reserved and doesn't really have any problems with anyone, most people actually liking him. he at times may speak a lot and have a conersation, but sometimes he just remains quiet and just kind of people watches

⇢ a trait not generally common in southern rebels, Vince is actually a very nice guy. he is always nice when he meets a person, not seeing a reason to be anything else, unless of course he sees otherwise. even if he doesn't like someone he still reamins nice to them, because that's just the person he is. but Vince does have quite the temper, should he get angry, and you wish he was same nice Vince. it's kind of funny how nice he is, because even if he doesn't care, it seems like he does because he's so nice. it just looks like he cares.

Not one, but two babies were born on this bright summer's day, in the province of Columbia. the mother was a politician and the father a palace guard, but they were both equally excited about their first children. they named the boy Vincent, and the girl Athena. the boy was more quiet and reserved, and he was also pretty shy. but the girl was more outgoing and confident. without his sister, Vince wasn't really himself, and he kind of just sat around and people watched. but when he was with his sister, he was in high spirits. he talked more, participated, even joked around. he was better with his sister. growing up twos, the children tended to receive whatever they wanted when asked, and all was well. when they turned five, they moved to Angles, so their father could be a palace guard. as children, they were allowed within the palace, and ran around and roamed free with other children. Vince recalls the intense games of hide and go seek, which he tended to completely dominate in due to his good eye and always remembering the layout of the palace as if it was his own home. he always noticed that his parent's didn't smile during the reports, in fact, they didn't even like them. and when he turned eight, he understood. three years later, his family left Illea and joined the rebels. actually, Vince learned that his family had been rebels the entire time. they had just been undercover. that's why his father was a palace guard, to be inside the palace. and that's why his mother had been a politician, to know what was going on in the world. once they moved into the camp, Vince had a hard to settling. he and his sister were put into the training camps, and while his sister excelled, he did not. his sister thought it was fun, and yeah, when Vince was with her, it was, but she was moved up quickly, and Vince was left behind. at this point, with his parent's indulged into his now three-year-old brother, and his sister constantly training, Vince began going on his own little adventures. he'd just walk out the camp, and walk and walk, explore this and that, and then he'd return. while people noticed his absence, they never bothered to ask him about it, and so he continued. And next thing you know, there's a ten-year-old that has the a whole mile radius around the camp mapped out. and here's where it all counted. Vince was out one day, walking around in a usual spot when he suddenly caught sight of an Illean soldier. Vince hid in the bushes, watching as more joined him before Vince ran off, undetected. he would've kept it to himself had he not seen that a bunch of rebels, about to walk in that exact direction, without weapons. Vince stopped them, telling them all about what he saw. they, of course, doubted he knew what he was talking about, as he was only ten. but upon his request, they did take along their weapons. Vince waited hours for their return, hoping they were not dead. and they did return and were very glad he had told them. the Illean guards were sent to find their camp, and Vince had caught them. technically. nonetheless, the rebels killed them and all was well. Vince and his family were questioned, the commanders wanting to know how their son had known where the Illean guards would be, and Vince told them. he told them all about his adventures, and how he knew a mile around the whole camp like the back of his hand. and well, they were impressed. Vince was questioned further, and even tested on his abilities. and once they realized he was serious, Vince and his family were brought up in standings, Vince giving his family a good name. time went on, Vince expanding the perimeter and helping the rebels with where to go when needed. things were great, so now we skip along to when he was sixteen. Vince knew the three-mile radius like the back of his hand. and then he was asked a particular question. in two years time, the rebels would be infiltrating the palace. the rebels had heard that as a boy, Vince had roamed the palace and knew its corners like it was his home. they asked whether or not he remembered, and Vince admitted to having the palace fuzzy in his mind. they wanted him to come, and he told them he'd think about it. Athena had gone on the raid earlier that year and told him it was fun. So, he told them he would go. We fast forward to the day of the attack, which took place in the middle of the night, as to catch them off guard. and they sure did. memories of the palace hit him like a tsunami, and he directed them to where they wanted to go. it was all going well, the rebels getting what they wanted. Vince had a guard to make sure he wasn't killed, as then who knows where'd they be. it was nearing the end of the infiltration, people leaving when Vince heard his name from down the hall. "Vince!" it was a whisper, and a yell, all at once. and it was Athena. she was smiling wide as she jogged in his direction. and he smiled too, and maybe he would have whisper yelled her name, had she not been shot. a guard, who had seemed to be dead on the floor, fired and arrow. first of all, how? and then why? but, those questions were not answered. Athena froze in mid-air of the jog, looking down at the arrow that had pierced her body before she fell to her knees. Vince ran over to her and reached for the arrow when she stopped him. he was going to ask why, but she shook her head, and that's when they both knew. Athena was thin, and the arrow didn't have trouble sliding right through her and poking through her back. Vince just sat there on the ground, holding Athena. he wanted to say something, and she probably did too, but neither of them did. his eyes were welling up with tears, and hers just brightly stared up at his. people often said they had the same eyes, a light blue with the same spark. the thing is, while only one twin died that day, two sparks went out that day as well. Vince closed her eyes once he couldn't feel her heartbeat, and then he exploded. he took the gun from his sister before walking over to the guard who had shot her. yeah, he was known dead because his guard had shot him, but that didn't matter. he had killed his sister, for no reason. and Vince let loose, shooting all the dead bodies, the wall, anything. it took a bit of work, but they eventually got him to stop. and so they went home. Vince had demanded they take Athena's body, and they did. once home, he and his family gave her a proper burial, and life went on. Vince was never the same after his sister's death. much quieter, reserved to himself. he's gotten better over the years, but he'll never forget. his sister was killed by Illea, and his name was her last word.

⇢ Cyrus isn't fearless, but he is always ready to face his fears. or endure danger. he likes danger. and he kind of likes fear? not like, he likes being scared, he just likes the adrenaline that he receives when facing his fears. and he likes facing his fears, or just facing anything in general. he doesn't mind going up against anything from a baby to the entire world. as long as he has a reason, he'll go for it. Cyrus is afraid of dying alone, which you can't exactly go up against, but there are other fears. he doesn't like tight spaces, or snakes, or heights, but if he must, he will simply just go up against them. this is mainly because Cyrus can be pretty impulsive at times, and just let his body take control because his mind is frozen, but at the end of the day he doesn't mean to mind. i mean, he's still alive, right?

█║ ❛❛ Pʀᴏᴛᴇᴄᴛɪᴠᴇ . . .
⇢ being the only boy in his family other than his father growing up, Cyrus understood he was the Prince in the sea of Princesses. and Princesses need protecting. at first, Cyrus was mainly just protective of his younger sisters, and even then it wasn't much. but as he grew older, it was for all his siblings. he just doesn't want them to get hurt. he cares about every one of them. over the years, Cyrus has become protective of many people, but it affects his family most. i'm not saying Cyrus would ever kill anyone, but he is awfully attached to his family members, and if anything were to happen to them, well... he wouldn't take it lightly. he's grown so used to seeing them all, talking and making them laugh, he'd probably go on a rampage. while Cyrus isn't very easy to anger, he has quite a temper when he is. it's actually quite terrifying, as his family says. so, long story short, Cyrus is very protective of people and would lose his mind if something happened.

█║ ❛❛ Cᴏᴍɪᴄᴀʟ . . .
⇢ always cracking jokes, Cyrus likes a good laugh. ever since he was younger he was constantly making other laugh, and has still kept up with the tradition. he doesn't mind embarrassing himself to get a giggle out of others, as long as they smile it's good. his jokes vary from an actual joke, with a punchline and everything to a simple sarcastic comment, but nonetheless will tend to carry out and result in the same way; laughter. it's good to have a good sense of humor, but it causes people to see Cyrus as a man who doesn't take things seriously. But he can actually become very serious, and no one really likes it. his youngest sister says he's scary when he's serious. so, instead, he tries to just keep being happy and funny.

█║ ❛❛ Tʀᴏᴜʙʟᴇᴍᴀᴋᴇʀ . . .
⇢ first thing's first (i'm the realest) let me just say, he's not a bad boy. well, like, he is, but he's not? ah well, let's hope i can explain it more. ever since his toddler years, Cyrus always seems to be getting into trouble. he just gets ideas to do things and just carries out the idea, not realizing it's a bad idea. he can't really help it, he just thinks things would be fun to do, and carries out with them. long ago, he used to get into these antics with the twins. he was the leader, and they'd go out and cause trouble all around the house. it was good, and bad, but mainly good. after a while they stopped, but Cyrus still continues getting into trouble. he doesn't do really bad things, like drugs or anything. but he drinks, and he won't come home the next day because he's too busy partying and hey, a tattoo won't kill anyone. sure, he can be a little reckless, but he's still a good boy. get what i mean? he's the bad boy thats a good boy even if-- ah forget it. you'll figure it out.

█║ ❛❛ Hᴏᴘᴇʟᴇss Rᴏᴍᴀɴᴛɪᴄ . . .
⇢ this isn't one of Cyrus' most protruding traits, and that's why i figured i'd mention it. while Cyrus tends to seem like a man of little worry, and while that is pretty true, he can't help but worry often about that one fear. dying alone. what if he grows old and doesn't find a girl he loves that will love him back and he doesn't have kids and he can't pass on his legacy and he dies alone and--you get the point. this leads to Cyrus constantly thinking about love. constantly wondering if the girl he is talking to is the one. he can be quite a flirt on top of this, tending to make the girls blush and become flustered. he isn't really picky when it comes to people, as he's been on loads of dates--with princesses and non-royals, even boys as well-- he just finds that things don't always work out. or, that one-night stands aren't as bad as you'd think. odd really, for someone who fears dying alone to do these things. but he's young, and trying to make sure to fit in all the action a life can hold. so, while he hopes to one day be in love with his true love, he flirts.

The first and the last son of Ireland. it was a rather warm day over in the country, forty-eight degrees, and there wasn't any snow on the ground or anything to signal they were still in winter. which was good, since spring started in February anyways? the royal family, which at the time consisted of four people, were in the midst of lunch when suddenly, the Queen began feeling sick. it took a minute for her to realize, oh wait, i'm fine, it's just regular contractions. of course then she was immediately brought to the hospital wing to have her child. Cyrus proved to be difficult, sending his mother into labor around noon but refusing to come out until three in the afternoon. but, she still loved him. Cyrus was very different from his two older sisters, Caitlyn, and Camille. they were such ladies, even at the young age. so, he kind of just crawled after them. even as a baby, Cyrus was full of energy. it didn't take long for him to learn how to crawl, and once he did, he was everywhere. he'd go and crawl his way on top of things. then you'd hear a crash and see that somehow baby Cyrus crawled onto the table and now plates were all over the floor. while Cyrus could be wild, he could also be "perfect" just like his sisters. but, only when there were visitors. which was good, as it was always nice to impress people. then came Cyrus' partners in crime. perhaps Callum and Cassidy wouldn't be so bad had Cyrus not influenced them to the point of which his father would drag Cyrus off to go do boy things. they were the trouble makers, constantly going around and messing with everyone and everything. they had each other's little backs, and when asked why things were the way they were (there're books in the fountain, a potted plant is spread out in the hall, your underwear was hanging from the chandelier and much more). eventually, the twins began taking control, trying to lead the way on their adventures. at first, being their ringleader, Cyrus was a bit frustrated at first. he had been the leader, and now Callum was coming and stealing his thunder. but he eventually backed off, not really minding when the twins came up with their own ideas. and besides, his father began dragging him away to learn to be a Prince. time went one, and Cyrus grew. he continued to take part in dangerous activities though more on his own. he and the twins maintained a good bond, and they teased each other to the point of well until they forgot about it. around the age of twelve, Cyrus was beginning to be introduced to girls. at first he was simply having fun with it, until realized it was so one day he'd be able to choose a wife. And well, the child in Cyrus had never thought about that. he just thought it was so he could have more friends, not fall in love. but still, Cyrus didn't change when he met princesses or duchesses or anyone else. he just kept the thought in the back of his mind. many girls thought he was cute and funny, much like a child. but you would've too, having seeing him before puberty came and fixed him up. it happened quickly, and within two years, Cyrus was built like the man he is today. it took a while, his sister's developing before him, but by the age of fifteen, it began, and once he was seventeen, he was much different. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] as a child, Cyrus traveled a bit, and that's how he made a lot of friends, especially one of his best friends, Prince Oliver of Illea. anyways, by the age of eighteen, his parents allowed him to go places, so he returned within two weeks. and he did. sure, this is why he is no longer shy or nervous in front of girls, and why his first kiss is long gone, and yes, why he is also no longer a virgin. but his parents don't need to know that. he explores quite a lot, but he's relaxed a little more after his sister got married. Cyrus approved of Cedric, he just didn't realize marriage came so soon. Camille was only four years older than him after all. Next was Caitlyn, and after that it'd be his turn. A part of him is freaking out while another is saying he should relax. it's been proven that girl's like him, so he just has to find the one he likes too. Recently he's been a little upset because the twins will be going to Illea, and he has to stay home. but, to his wonderful surprise, he received an invitation from Oliver to come and join him during his selection. Cyrus was ecstatic, and his parents, of course, agreed, telling him and his sister to all watch each other.

↳ like anyone, Cyrus has skills. and like any prince, they are skills that would help him were he to become the leader. but at the same time, he is his own person. for instance, Cyrus grew up the leader of his troubling group, and once that was over, his father made sure he knew how to be a good leader. and like any other prince, Cyrus was taught in the art of sword fighting. and while he liked it, he enjoyed hand-to-hand combat more, or using a bow and arrow instead. he has a favorite weapon, but his isn't allowed to use it any more due to an obsession he had with it. but, Cyrus is also skilled when it comes to hiding or finding (hide and go seek is HIS game), eating, and making other's laugh

↳ as stated above, Cyrus is skilled when it comes to fighting. he can use a sword, and is as equally skilled with it like any other prince, he just prefers other weapons. for instance, he likes hand-to-hand comabt because it requires more mind, and he likes using a bow and arrow because of it's intensity. then, there's his favorite weapon, which he adores for various reasons i will state below.
