My name is Christian Sturm. I spent 14 years working on a novel about Atlantis and the Atlantean World and finally self-published it in the Fall of 2019. I think I have penned the definitive novel about Atlantis in a credible fashion which makes it read somewhat like an historical novel. Though the tale is about people, peril, and dark aspects of the occult, its’ main character is the world itself where there are visions of the fantastic that reach for the sublime.
If you like legendary fantasy that has a sense of reality which stirs your curiosity of what might have been, you might want to check out “Pillars of Atlantis - A Tale of the First World” at:

Reading is a big part of my life. I love losing myself between pages of a book. Sometimes, when I read, it’s not just fiction while I’m between the pages. It’s real. I get upset at their bad choices or when they do dumb stuff, and sometimes, I cry or laugh with them. If a book can cause such real emotion and make you feel everything the characters are feeling, then reading can’t ever be boring. This is one of the reasons I decided to start this blog. I wanted to share my views regarding the books I read. But it is also for me to remember which book was which 🙂 Because there are so many that I read sometimes it is impossible to remember the name of the book or the author but I do remember the characters 🙂
If you have time check it out :)

I read mostly YA contemporary and fantasy, and I try and post a review within a week of reading the book. This means there should be at least one new review each week. Check out the review page for an index of all the books I’ve reviewed.
I also post a new book related blog post every Monday, so be on the look out for a new post each week.
Have an amazing day!

I was originally posting it to this site. A little while ago however, my computer started having some major issues, forcing me to reinstall Windows. Because of this and the fact that I didn't put the login information for the site, the email it was connected to, and the social media accounts into their own Notepad files, I lost access. I tried everything I could think of to regain access, but nothing worked.
As a result, I had no choice but to create a new email and everything. I have put the login information for these into their own Notepad files, so I'm hoping this sort of thing doesn't happen again.

I also have a Pinterest that I'm happy to follow people back on!

I post all my reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, Twitter, LinkedIn, and my blog. I have done almost 200 reviews for Netgalley (I'm at 199 right now) and I also review on BookSirens. I am a member reviewer for the Historical Novel Society. I read all genres except current politics and horror. I'm partial to Historical Fiction and Time Travel, but not limited to those genres.
I am happy to work with Indie authors.

also recently reactivated my bookstagram. https://instagram.com/literaryeffect
