Freya Barrington | 8 comments Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce you to my latest blog. It's all about my 2nd novel, entitled Gozo Is the Grass Greener? A nonfiction and at times humorous, novel about mine and my husband, Steve's move, from the UK, to the beautiful, Mediterranean island of Gozo in the Maltese archipelago. The book is illustrated with numerous colour photographs, and includes the story of our manic drive across Europe, tales about our lurchers, Ollie and Ralph; and anecdotes about living in Gozo.

Released by FARAXA Publishing.

Please also visit my website for my debut novel, Known to Social Services which was the number one social work book on Amazon UK. Thank you

E.J. Jackson (elainejenny) | 7 comments Hi Freya,

I love the idea of dedicating a blog (not just a website) to a novel. Keeps each subject easy to find for potential readers, and means you don't have to keep updating each one all the time! Both books sound very interesting. Although I write sci-fi, I also enjoy true life stories and darker fiction, so I may give both a read!

best wishes,
Elaine

Freya Barrington | 8 comments Hi Elaine,

Thank you for your encouraging comments. I find having the blogs helps me to direct potential readers to one particular book, rather than a whole website, where they may not immediately find what they're looking for.

I hope you enjoy the books if you decide to give them a read. Known to Social Services is fairly dark and depressing, but based on the reality of my job as a child protection social worker. Gozo, Is the Grass Greener? is much more light hearted with plenty of laughs, though it too has some more serious moments too.

You will have to let me know if you have a blog and I can take a look. My husband and I are both Dr Who and Star Trek fans!!

All the best and thanks again,

Freya
