Hi Francessca. I suggest a few things:
# advertise your blog on all your social media sites, FB, Twitter etc.
# be patient. It takes a long time to build a loyal audience. Be active, be interesting and choose a schedule to post to. It can be once a day, twice a week, every fortnight. Whatever it is, consistency can help.
# be sure to have a 'follow by email' option. That way everyone doesn't have to remember to visit your site. They'll get e-mail updates and they can choose what they want to read.
# advertise in Goodreads groups where appropriate. My group has a Promote Me section - http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1... - where you can show all your links etc.
# follow similar and different blogs a like. The more you contribute to other people's blogs, the more you comment, the more active you are, the more likely people are going to visit your site. Be active and be honest.
# talk about your writing tips, work method, review other books in your genre and other genres.
Mostly blogs are all about being yourself and being active within social media. It's sort of the same as working with Twitter and Facebook. It all takes time.
I hope this helps. :)

Your best bet is to start reading and commenting on other blogs, so that people can click on your name and take a look at your blog.
There's an option somewhere in your Goodreads profile to link your blog to GR.

I have to do twitter not really great at using that, and will have to sort this account out for it,
Have been popping on others blogs on Facebook and commenting ECT
:-s very much hard work xxx

Congratulations Francessca. What are you using for your blog? Blogger? WordPress? On some blog sites, you can link your blog feed to your Twitter account. My blog automatically updates both my FB and Twitter pages, so it means I have to spend less time there, updating, unless I get messages. :)
