Two new Kindle Fires (HDX) models, they look absolutely stunning and might be the first Amazon product to really go at both apple and google.

I agree. The reduction in weight on the new Fires is very impressive and will make them wonderful to use, IMO. Can't wait to get my hands on them!

Loren | 22 comments My only wish is that Amazon and itunes would share content much like how amazon instant video is on my ipad. I would absolutely jump ship to Amazon from Apple for my hardware.

That would be very cool.

Garrett Riley | 6 comments Loren, just use the amazon uploader and you can upload your iTunes library to amazon...if u have drm apple content...subscribe to iTunes Match, re download your library to break the drm....then do the amazon uploader....it is quick and easy to do

I just downloaded my iTunes library to my amazon cloud yesterday. If you have alot of music, be prepared to pay for more cloud storage to accommodate the music. It took about an hour to upload 2400 songs. It also takes awhile to appear on your Fire and other android devices but I think it is all there now.

Loren | 22 comments The issue isn't that I have alot of music (though I definitely have quite a bit). I have VIDEO, a lot of TV shows and Movies. Therein lies the problem

Susan Bready | 8 comments Agreed. If I could find a way to movie my movies & TV shows, I certainly would consider the move as well. Although I still feel the apps are better and more solid on the Apple platform as well.

Robin Robertson (mcrobus) | 7 comments Have the HDX7. Surprised how much I have come to like it: till the microphone stopped working and the caramel started doing crazy things. Have just spent two days on the phone and mayday support with No resolution. They just keep telling me to do a hard power off, which is the first thing I usually do.
Love my Kindles and have been an ardent Amazon supporter, but having doubts now. Customer and tech support used to be a good experience.

Nick Meyer | 6 comments I haven't been very impressed with Customer Service either. Only one out of four I have talked to lately I would rate a 10. The others don't seem to know very much and a couple of higher level support folks were hard to understand due to accents.
