Neil Ostroff (httpgoodreadscomneil_ostroff) | 271 comments Read what Kindle Nation Daily called “the sleeper hit of the year” what Kindle Fire Department called, “riveting, touching, and deeply heartwarming, a book that will stay with you forever”, an Indie Book of the Day winner, 18-five star reviews from all over the world.

Patricia Scholes (patriciascholes) | 49 comments What WOULD you do if you knew you were going to die? I'd write, of course. But WHAT I wrote might be different than what I'm writing now.

What would YOU do?

Anne (spartandax) | 104 comments Make sure I was right with the Lord.

Patricia Scholes (patriciascholes) | 49 comments You're right, Anne. But how would you do that? I would be writing, which is my natural way to express what I know and believe. So what would you DO?

message 5: by Neil (new)

Neil Ostroff (httpgoodreadscomneil_ostroff) | 271 comments I wrote DROP OUT because of this fact. I hospiced a friend who knew he was going to die. His thoughts on his impending demise forms the basis for this book.

Patricia Scholes (patriciascholes) | 49 comments Excellent premise. And an excellent question. I've heard great things about DROP OUT, which is why I capitalized on your question. What would you do personally, Neil?

message 7: by Neil (new)

Neil Ostroff (httpgoodreadscomneil_ostroff) | 271 comments I would do what the character in the book did :). And thanks for the compliment. DROP OUT has been doing pretty good but the emails I get from readers about how the story has affected them is priceless.

I would write to my children. I would let them know how much I love them and give them stories that they could read. I would also continue writing my fiction novels.

Martin | 18 comments I do know I'm going to die--at least I know it's as near statistically certain as anything in life can be. So do all of you. What are all of you doing?

message 10: by Patricia (new)

Patricia Scholes (patriciascholes) | 49 comments Actually, I'm going to live forever. But I have to die first.

John Rachel (johndrachel) | 44 comments I'd send out invitations to my funeral and send everyone to the wrong place.
