Larry Weiner | 2 comments Hi fellow BI folk. I'm not sure of the protocol or if it's unseemly of me to do this, but I have a novel out, "Paradise Rot" that is available for a free download at the book page here on GR. If interested, I'd love to have some reviews (good and bad - but mostly good).

Thanks for your time

Larry Weiner

Mark Bullard (markdbullard) | 7 comments Larry,

First of all, that's called Marketing, and it's an important part of getting the book out there if you want people to read it.

The second half of marketing is removing barriers that make it hard for the consumer to get what you're trying to give them.

I'd read it if I could get it on my kindle easily...

But I can't get on Goodreads on my old Kindle easily. I then downloaded it to my PC and moved it to my Kindle only to discover that it's epub, a format not supported by Kindle.
Then I tried to convert it at a cool converting site...but it was DRM protected, or so it claimed.
At that point, I gave up and thought I'd share my story with you for your edification.

Make it easy and I'm there.

Thanks,
Mark

Larry Weiner | 2 comments My understanding is that epub is supported by kindle. If not I point you to Calibre, a free app that lets you change an epub file to anything you need. Yours is the first story I've had about not being able to get access to it. If you have an ipad or iphone, you can read it via the kindle app. Lastly - there is the $0.99 option on Amazon - I apologize for the inconvenience.
