Hey guys, no one will probably need this but I thought I would post it here anyway. I did a blog post about using GoodReads, the basics anyway. Or things I find useful.

Tried to keep it short as I could, I could waffle on all day about using the site lol.

James Caterino (jimcaterino) | 37 comments Great overview Bisky. GR should use this in their FAQ section.

The lack of "real-time" updates gets annoying, especially when I see activity on my books but have to wait to the next day to see who added it, reviewed it etc. But overall the this site has been amazing and really captured a much-needed niche somewhere between the FB and Amazon universes.

I have been turned on to a lot of great books and interesting authors that I would never have connected with otherwise. The bookshelves system is a way cool way to organize and review everything you read. Also, I find the book ratings and reviews far more insightful and honest here, with less of the two extremes that make up so much of Amazon's customer review section, self-promoters and hater/trolls.
