Hi, What a great group!
I'm the author of "Adventures of a Western Mystic: Apprentice to the MastersPeter Mt. Shasta, which is an account of my experiences meeting Saint Germain and several other ascended masters in physical form. They gave instruction on the I AM, which was first introduced to me in The Impersonal Life, and later through Unveiled Mysteries by Godfre Ray King (one of the best books you can read on awakening).

My next book, "Search for the Guru," which is the prequel to my other book, will come out in December. It is the story of my childhood, spiritual awakening, journey to India, travel with Ram Dass, meeting Neem Karoli Baba, Sai Baba, Anandamayi Ma and other saints and yogis. The true guru, of course, is your own higher self.

Hi there, my name is Hermy Balcomb, and I love the topic of spirituality -- the greater the diversity of its coverage, the more it appeals to me. More specifically, I love the interplay between our individuality and our spiritual practices.

On a personal note, I'm a college instructor and storyteller by default. In the middle of a crisis moment, the story of Credere (Latin, to believe) came to me. It's a parable of our times written in the afterlife, heaven, a place of complete love. One question I have always been fascinated by is how imperfect human beings fits into a world, heaven, of complete love and acceptance (since most world religions encourage 'love' as our highest development of self). At the end of writing this novel, I found a lot of peace surrounding that question - at least, in my heart's space!

I am the author of, The Joy Channelings. I have been on a spiritual quest for over two decades, but I meandered through on my own as I was raising children. Hi everyone,

I joined this group when I lived in Thailand a couple of years ago and am now based in Australia.

I worked in the advertising industry for 20 years, and in 2013 when I felt that my work no longer matched my values I decided it was time for a change. It was time to follow my bliss. It was at this time that I gave up the corporate world to travel, write, photograph and study psychology.

At the time it was a huge leap of faith. Moving from a world of complete security to a world of unknown challenges and opportunities certainly took determination. That leap has taken me on an inspired journey to what I considers to be a much richer life. It was goodbye to the corporate world of politics and games, and hello to really living again.

As well as travel all around Asia, I meditated at monasteries in Myanmar, studied Buddhism, completed an Ayurvedic detox, trekked in Nepal and had plenty of time to spend on my passions - writing and photography. I am now studying to become a Clinical Psychologist in Australia.

I tend to focus on the sacred, the spiritual side of life. My belief is that without the sacred we are not whole. The sacred is not about religion or old-school dogma. The sacred is simple. It's about life, being our authentic self, nature, connection and community.
