I finished this one last night. I gave it a 3. I didn't love it, but did like it. If anything I would have given it 3.5

I wasn't that keen on this book. There was too much power and politics and not enough human emotion and personal tragedy.

But I got an indication that his earlier books may have been better and had a balance of all that I said above.
