John Beachem | 373 comments Did you figure out who killed Relex Unara? Do you think the person who appears to be responsible really did it? Finally, did Neredl really kill Sereesa or was it an accident?

Tracy Dobbs | 121 comments I think Neredl did kill Sereesa...it would fit with the supposed effect Lorrada says the stone would have on the elf.

Hmmm...I'm still not sure of Relex Unara situation. We have our apparent final solution, ala Toren, but there have been so many different twists and possibilities I'm a bit suspicious that we have reached the end of them. Plus, when we add the possibility of magical influence....well, there are other avenues of "ultimate" responsibility...

Leslie Ann (leslieann) | 224 comments I did not figure it out, even though the clues you placed pointed to Toren's ultimate conclusion. Now, because of Calton's apparent lack of any emotional response to the fact he committed murder, it makes me doubt he actually did it.

I do believe Neredl killed Sereesa precisely because of the stone's influence. I hated her anyway, so I wasn't particularly upset.

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 916 comments Wow...I did not see that coming! That was probably the last person I suspected. Though it does answer the question of why his character was developing more slowly.....hmmmm...

And I agree with the others that there will be more revealed before it's all over. As far as the whys and hows, and perhaps even another twist on the who.

As far as Neredl, sure. He killed her. No great loss. She was the only member of the band I didn't like at all.....

Libby | 242 comments Very surprising ending! Well done - and when I looked back with the knowledge that Carlton did it (I believe that he did) his conversations and actions take on another dimension. I always enjoy a well thought out plot twist where you can go back and find the clues. Like Chris - I now see why his character was a bit veiled and underdeveloped.

I particularly enjoyed Ratel's earlier reference to the statue which I completely glazed over on my initial read.

John Beachem | 373 comments Glad I could give folks a bit of a surprise. As for Sereesa, she was supposed to be rather vile and detestable... guess I pulled that off ;-). Thanks for the compliments, everyone.
