Chantae B. I'm half way through (stopped reading it to read this other book) it's good but I hope the whole book isn't about her and ky trying to find each other

It's not even good enough to be compared to the hunger games. I hate hour they switch POVs.

Dana Burkey (danaburkey) I just finished this and I am still annoyed with Cassia, and still don't like Ky!! Xander is much better, and we barley got to see him at all.... the "cliff hanger" at the end of the book was mediocre at best.... I plan on finishing the series just to see it through, but the more I read it just feels like The Giver mixed with Twilight, with a little bit of the controlling government from Hunger Games... All in all it is not original, and I don't know how they think it will make a good movie.......

Connie (proseandconnie) | 1027 comments A big part of why I don't like this trilogy is I don't like the main characters. Cassia spends half her time going "oh, should I pick Ky or Xander?" We know there's a love triangle, it doesn't have to be mentioned 50 times xD
Indie was a really suspicious character. I didn't know what to make of her.
I swear nothing happened in this book. I gave a 5 minute summary of it to my friend, who hadn't read it yet, and with that information she was able to go onto Reached without any problems.
There were some great opportunities for conflict and excitement, I thought, but none of them happened.
Switching POVs is okay, but only if the author shows that the two characters think differently. Cassia and Ky both spent like 5 paragraphs describing the color of the leaves at one point.
