message 8: by Kandie (new)

Kandie (kankan929) | 36 comments Terry Brooks (on his writing style, and what he feels makes readers love the Shannara Family legacy so much. Johanna Lindsey, and the same. Beverly Jenkins, Will F. Jenkins, and W.W. Jacobs, Katherine Stone and Sandra Brown, just about their writing technique and how they are inspired to write the stories that they do.

message 9: by Carl (new)

Carl Homer. I'd enjoy hearing reading performance tips.

message 10: by Rick (new)

Rick Soper (RickSoper) | 169 comments F. Paul Wilson has been writing books at such a frantic and imaginative pace for so many years that I think talking to him would be great fun and very educational from a writing standpoint.

Also Karin Slaughter, because she flat scares me.

And Chelsea Cain, because she write such horrific books with such a gleeful tone that I think she would be too cool to talk to.

Oh! And James Rollins, I've greatly enjoyed all of his books, I like the fact he lives in Lake Tahoe, appreciate the fact he's a veterinarian who still volunteers to help animals, and know that he likes a whole lot of adventurous activities like cave exploration, deep water diving, and explorative travel, so I imagine a conversation with him would be very interesting.

Carl A more "modern" choice would be Hawthorne. I'd ask about marvelous ambiguity those short stories.

message 12: by Jonah (new)

Jonah Gibson (aimlessjonah) So many. Mark Twain probably tops my list though.

message 13: by Brian (new)

Brian Basham (brianbasham) | 390 comments Phillip K Dick just because it would be the most random and crazy interview.
