A World Without Sun discussion

"We could name him something else, Robin."

She shrugged and focused on the baby.

Logan sighed softly.

"What about Lincoln?" RObin asked wanting the baby's name to start with L.

He smiled, "sounds handsome enough."

"Thanks." she smiled a bit.

"Why are you thanking me? You thought of it," he shrugged.

"You agreed with it." she shrugged and offered him the baby. "Where's Arin?"

He took the boy carefully, "in the hall with Salon."

She nodded, "DOes she know?"

Logan shook his head, "no... I thought you should be the one to tell her."

She bit her lip and nodded, "Okay."

"Are you okay?" He asked softly.

"...I'm fine Logan."

"You don't sound to sure," he placed his son in the incubator before rubbing Robin's arms, "you don't have to be strong all the time."

Robin shrugged and looked down, "I-I know. Its just...its just a lot happened today."

Logan kissed her forehead, "I know," he whispered.

Robin rested her head aganist his chest.

He rubbed her back gently, not sure what else to say.

"I should go talk to Arin." she said pulling back.

Logan took a small breath and nodded, "do you want me to bring her in here?" He didn't want her straining herself.

She nodded, "Please?"

He nodded and stood. Logan moved the incubator carefully so their was a bit more room before leaving and sending Arin in.

"Hey sweetie." Robin smiled pulling her daughter onto the bed when she came over.

Arin looked at her mom concerned, "mommy okay?"

"Mommy is okay." Robin nodded.

She nodded and looked at Robin's stomach, "baby too?" She hadn't noticed the incubator.

Robin bit her lip, "I have to explain some stuff to you about the baby Arin. He's okay... he's just...different."

Arin looked at her mom's face confused, "different?"

"Sort of like Grandma."

She made a face, "grandma's different?" She asked confused, having never really noticed.

Robin nodded wondering how far she should go to explain it. She just didn't want Arin to think of her brother as a freak. "Your brother almost died, the only way the doctor could save him was to give him a new heart but its not like ours."

She pressed her lips together, still confused, "it's not?"

Robin nodded and lead Arin to the incubator and tried to explain it the best she could for the girl to understand.

Arin stood on her tippy toes to see the baby, "so he's part robot?"

"sort of."

She smiled, "cool."

Robin smiled a little relieved, Arin thought so. "I guess so."

"He's like terminator," she stated, even though her daddy had told her not to tell her mom that she watched those movies with him.

"Terminator huh?" she raised an eyebrow knowing that she wouldn't have let Arin watch that movie.

She nodded then gasped, "I mean... I never watched that!"

"YOur not in trouble Arin."

Arin sighed with relief and nodded, "okie, I watched it with daddy. We are all the cookies too..."

Robin looked her face over, "Okay Arin." She was so going to talk to Logan aboutt his later, "Anything else?"

She thought, "we watched jaws too."

She laughed,only Logan. "Did you like it?"

She nodded, "it was scary at some parts though."

Robin nodded and glanced at Lincoln before going back to Arin,"How was school?"

Arin grinned, "fun! Bobby and I played with blocks."

"Oh." she smiled, "Is he your friend?"
