A World Without Sun discussion

She blushed a little and nodded, "ya."

"I'm happy for you."

She giggled, "thanks mommy."

She smiled and kissed her forehead.

Logan came in and sat on the bed.

"hey," Robin said, "did you go talk to Emily?"

Logan nodded, "you guys will be able to go in the morning."

Robin nodded, "You guys don't have to stay all night with us."

Arin hugged Robin, "I stay."
Logan smiled, "looks like we're staying."

Robin smiled back, "Alright. We'll probably need to get another bed." THey all couldn't fit on her hospital bed.

He nodded, "good idea."

Robin nodded and leaned aganist her husband.

Logan wrapped his arm around her, "Salon said she was going home," he informed her.

"Really?" She asked, wishing she had said good bye at least. It couldn't have been easy for her to come here.

Logan nodded, "she didn't look to good..." He whispered so Arin didn't hear.

Robin frowned worried and grabbed her phone, "I'll call Mj to check on her."

Logan nodded, "alright."

Mj picked up on the fourth ring, "hello?" There was the sound of a crying baby in the background along with a crying Piper. Mj groaned and walked to another room.

Robin couldn't help but smile, "Hey, are you busy?" she asked her brother.

"Just watching a chick flick with Piper and the boy," he sighed, "their such cry babies," he whined.

Robin laughed, "If you want an excus to get out the house for awhile. Could you check on mom for me?"

"Where are you?" He asked, both confused and slightly worried.

"Hospital." she half lied, "I'm okay. I just had the baby early." SHe'd explain it all to him later.

"Alright..." He sounded more worried but didn't ask questions, "why does mom need checking up on? Is she rusting? Clanking? Heating up?" He started listing mechanical problems.

"No. Mj Its not mechanical. Its about her feelings about...I don't know. Something just brought up something bad to her."

"Oh, alright. I'll stop by in a bit."

"Okay. Thanks Mj."

"No problem Robin. Take care," he hung up.

RObin put her phone up, "He's going to check on her." she told Logan.

Logan nodded, "that's good." He rubbed her back, "you should rest."

"I'm not tired." She lied, wanting to stay up in case something happened with Lincoln.

He sighed, "alright..."
An extra bed was brought in and Logan went it and helped Arin get onto it.

Arin smiled up at her daddy, "bedtime story?"

Logan smiled, "what story do you want to hear?"

"3 bears and that girl!"

He chuckled, "alright alright." He started telling the story, but with his own twist.
Emily came in and went to Robin, "hello. How are you feeling?"

"Okay." she looked way from her family to the doctor. "Will Lincoln be alright?"

Emily nodded, "this isn't the first cyborg we've made. He'll be fine. You'll just have to bring him in for growth parts. We don't want him outgrowing that heart."

She bit her lip and nodded, "Okay. What else?"

"He should be otherwise fine," Emily assured her.

She nodded, "Thank you...for saving him"

She nodded, "I kind of owed it to Salon..."

"Were you one of the people who made her?"

Emily nodded, "yes... I was still new at the time, I was assigned to her programming."

"Did you expect her to become....so humman?" she didn't know how else to put it into words.

She shook her head and sighed, "I never would have imagined that she would Creat her own personality and subconscious."

Robin smiled, glad Salon did. SHe was stronger than she gave herself credit for.

Emily sighed, "I hope she'll forgive us..."

She frowned, "Why would she? You guys kill her love. My father."

She pressed her lips together, "but we saved your son. That should count towards something."

"You just can't pay away that kind of pain." Robin glared at her, "Thank you for saving my son but they doesn't get rid of the fact you killed Miguel Ryder."
