After Mario signed the paperwork. He looked through the house. Phoebe had picked a nice house for them, maybe she really did deserve a puppy. After a while he decided to head back to Sam to check up on her.

Sam felt the car stop, "are we here?" She asked, hoping it wasn't another red light.

"Yes." Mario told her, "You can take it off now."

Sam took off the blind fold and looked at the house confused, "where are we?" She asked. She didn't know what their future house looked like from the back, not the front.

Mario helped Phoebe out of the car, then picked up Sam. "Our new home." He told her smiling.

Sam's heart jumped, "really!?" She wrapped her arms around the back of his neck and kissed him deeply.

Mario's heart jump excitedly as he kissed Sam back. He was glad Sam liked it.

Sam pulled out of the kiss and looked down at Phoebe's happy face. She smiled softly and looked at the house, "shall we go inside? I'm kind if tired still.."

Mario nodded and ruffled Phoebe's hair, "I got something for you too, Princess."

"You did?" She asked curiously, tilting her head to the side.

Mario smiled and led them inside the house. "Yup."

Phoebe looked around the inside of the house, "it's so pretty daddy!"
Sam smiled and whispered, "what did you get her?"

Mario smiled, happy neither knew, "Come on its in Phoebe's room." He told them leading them upstairs.

Phoebe smiled and fallowed him up really exited, "what is it? What is it!?"
Sam chuckled, "relax baby."

Mario sat Sam on Phoebe's bed. He pointed to the closet, "Its in there, baby." He told Phoebe. Noises from the closet got louder hearing people outside.

Phoebe looked up at him curiously, "will it hurt me?" She asked as she slowing inched to the closet.

A small bark came from the closet, happily.

Phoebe jumped and opened the door. A black Boykin Spaniel puppy ran out barking.
Phoebe screamed, "It's a puppy!" she jumped around, "mama! Daddy for me a puppy!" she pet the puppy and played with it.
Sam smiled at Mario, "that was nice of you."

Mario smiled watching Phoebe, "She deserved it."

Sam rested her head on his shoulder and watched Phoebe play with the small puppy, "does it have a name?"

Mario shook his head, "I thought I'd let Phoebe named her."

Sam smiled and looked at Phoebe, "what are you going to name her?"
"Lucky!" Phoebe smiled without hesitation.
Sam wondered why she wanted that name.

Mario smiled at the little girl. He turned to Sam, "Want to explore the rest of the house?"

Sam nodded, still feeling tired, "sure," she looked at Phoebe, "the puppy isn't aloud on the furniture, except your bed if you want."
Phoebe nodded, "yes mama."

Mario picked up Sam and left Phoebe's room, "Dont worry the pup's house trained." He brought her into the twins nursery.

Sam gasped, "Oh, Mario.. It's perfect," she looked at it in amazement, "I love it!" She hugged him.

Mario squeezed back. Maybe he was finally getting the hang of being a father.

She pulled away to kiss him softly, "what does our room look like?" She asked excitedly.

Mario smiled and reminded Sam, "I won't be your chauffeur forever." He carried her to their room and her on the bed.

Sam chuckled, "but your so good at it," she looked around the room and smiled, "it's do beautiful Mario."

Mario kissed her cheek, "I try."

Sam tried to his a yawn, "where's next?" She asked, wanting to see the hole house.

Mario laid her on the bad and pulled the covers over her, "You need rest." He kissed her forehead, "We'll do more exploring later."

"But... I'm not even tired! I wanna see everything else," she wined.

Mario shook his head smiling, "You and your potty mouth go to sleep, or I will carry you back to the nurse office."

Sam rolled her eyes, "fine!" She pulled him down to her for a quick goodnight kiss, "I love you."

"Love you." Mario said.

Sam touched his face softly before she drifted to sleep, her hand falling to her side.

Mario kissed her softly and got up and headed to Phoebe's room and hoped her and Lucky hadn't made a mess.

Phoebe sat on her bed with the puppy, her blankets all wrinkled. She giggled as the puppy licked her hands and face.

Mario leaned against the doorway. It was cleaner then he expected. Mario smiled softly watching Phoebe play with her dog. He felt guilty for scaring her in the office the other day.

The puppy jumped off the bed and ran to Mario and barked playfully, wagging her tail.
Phoebe giggled, "look daddy, she wants to play with you too!"

Mario scratched the puppy's head. "You like your dog?"

Phoebe nodded, she jumped off her bed and ran up to Mario to hug him, "I wuv her daddy, thank you so much!"

Mario kissed her forehead, "Anything for you baby."
