Madeline L'Engle made a brief mention refering braces on pages 31 and 32. This brought me back to last week when I got my wire replaced.

A connection I made tonight was when Charles, Meg, and Calvin were walking through the woods and it was dark and quiet. This reminds me of the time that I was in Disney World: we had sort of missed the monorail back to our hotel so we had to go through the back gates in Epcot. We walked all the way to the front of the park and it was very dark quiet. It was also kind of interesting because it was pretty cool to see all of the attractions and lights in the park all lit up.

While we're at it, Charles Wallace was a famous scholar and researcher.

Isabel (isabelf) Wow this is crazy.

Olivia613 | 13 comments Wow that's so weird...do you think that that's where some of character's names originated from?

Isabel (isabelf) Creepy... Dennys is also the name of a clothing store.

Victor | 8 comments yeah it doesn't

Isabel (isabelf) that's great that you took interest in finding info, but how is this relevant to the discussion? Oh and Relevant- Lively word

Isabel (isabelf) Oh ok thanks for clarifying that.

Victor | 8 comments One last thing - Camazotz is the name of a god with the body of a human and the head of a blood-drinking bat. I researched that for fun :)

Isabel (isabelf) For fun Victor? Wow...... One connection I made a while ago but decided to share was: "warm and pungent." This is how Meg describes what Aunt Beast is rubbing her with. This reminds me of Vicks Vapor rub.

Victor | 8 comments That's interesting..., nice connection
