Sylvia Plata Journal submission No.1 The Beautiful Mess Leigh T.K. Chapters 1-8, pages 1-80 Tiffany, Brianna, Jennifer, Graydon Friday, October 11, 2013 The time went by quickly because I’m really enjoying this book. Also it’s my first time reading something off of NOOK. I find it more convenient. I have the app on my phone so whenever I’m standing in a long line or waiting for something it helps pass the time faster. I usually stop reading because of being interrupted by my kids. I lost track of my reading several times because my kids would interrupt me. Then I would have to go back a few sentences to reread what I just read to understand it properly. I remember reading something but as soon as I would get distracted I would lose my train of thought. I figured out that I was able to concentrate better during the night time once it was quiet and the kids were asleep. I was able to get more absorbed into the story. During the reading I find myself relating the character's actions to myself. I constantly am comparing Olivia to myself because I don't believe in attachments.I don't like getting to close to people and I don't trust easily. I figured out how the reading was set up in a certain way. Which I really like.
