A World Without Sun discussion

Yula nodded and waved her hand in front of her face to move the smoke away from Matty, "very."

"I should get going. I need to locate a guard uniform." Matty sighed.

Yula nodded, "thanks for the cigarettes, and good luck."

"You're welcome and I'll need it." Matty said. "Any ideas on where I cold find one?" she asked.

She shrugged again, "maybe check a janitor's closet or work room?"

Matty nodded. "Kay. Thanks. See you soon." she said, and started to walk away. "Be good." she added, before leaving.

She crawled back into her bed and finished her smoke, then threw both the butts out her small window.

Yula managed to get a couple smokes by making out with both girls and guys during mingle hour. You would think they wouldn't let people out of there cells at all, but one hour a day they did.
She relaxed on her bed and thought she could get use to it here. Even though she missed Brogan and Nani a lot, she might as well enjoy herself.
She lit another smoke and new that if she got out, Brogan was going to kill her for getting more addicted.

Lana slipped in and gave Yula everything she'd asked for, including some cigarets. "I talked to Matty and we decided that we'd give you a pack every other day so that you don't crave one so much you cheat on Brogan." she said. Then she noticed that Yula already had one. "Unless you've already done some stuff. Don't let it go farther than kissing." she added, shaking her head.

Yula rolled her eyes, "relax, I'm not doing anything stupid," she loved Brogan and didn't want to hurt him, "but please don't tell him...."

She put out her smoke and placed it on her window ledge. She walked up to the bars and took the things she asked for and looked at the package, "wow, these are good ones.. All I can get here are natives.." She put the pack on her window ledge and the necklace around her neck. It was her grandmother's necklace, and she felt bad for thinking about trading it.

Lana sighed. "I won't, and even if I did, he'd feel a tad betrayed, but would still love you." she said.

She nodded, "I love him a lot, but I'd go crazy without smokes..." She admitted, she felt better now that she wasn't alone and everything, but when she was alone she needed smokes to stay san.

"Matty wanted to know if you wanted that gum that helps you stop." Lana said.

She sighed, "I don't know.. Maybe when I get out.." She sat at the foot of her bed, "is he doing alright?" She asked worriedly.

"Brogan's with the nurse, checking on his fist. He isn't happy, cause Mario and Sam had been there for a while. Who's Mario, by the way?" Lana asked.

"Sam's boyfriend, and the leader of the rebellion," she left out that he was her ex boyfriend, "did he say what happened to them?"

"He said Sam had twins." she said.

Her eyes widened, "Sam was pregnant? Again!?" Her stomach dropped and she felt sick, "good for them.."

"Something about a fight and her going to the facility and getting, like, six or seven pills." Lana said, waving her hand around in the air. "Now, is there anything about Brogan that you don't know that you want answered?" she asked.

She couldn't believe Mario threw someone away to the facility so easily then took her back, "umm, I duno.. I can't ask if I don't know? What has he been up to?"

"You mean besides punching walls, calling some guy named Tyler, and panicking in general?" she asked.

She nodded, "ya, other then all that..."

"Absolutely nothing besides breathing." she said, shrugging.

She nodded, "he needs to calm down.. I'm fine.." She looked down and played with the bottom of her shirt.

"And in jail. I'll tell Matty to tell him so. He'll calm down once he has a plan in place." Lana said.

She nodded, "will you let me know when he does? So I can hide the smokes.."

"No need to hide them. Just don't smoke 'em." Lana said, shrugging.

She tomes her eyes, "I meant hide the packages and everything.. He doesn't like me smoking.."

"He doesn't care if you smoke, as long as it's not around him." Lana clarified.

She nodded, "it's not good for the baby though," she sighed heavily and felt the craving for a cigarette, "I hope I'll be able to quite when I get out.. I was so close.."

"Don't smoke too much with the baby, but it might keep it from getting Brogan and Matty's curse. Make it used to the smoke." Lana said.

She nodded and fell backwards onto her bed, "it's so boring in here... What it like out there? Has it started snowing yet?" She asked curiously. She could only see the grey clouds out her window, nothing else.

"No, thank God. You'll be able to tell by looking at me." Lana said, laughing.

Yula smiled, "that's good, I like walking outside after the first snowfall.. I don't want to miss it this year."

"Hopefully you won't be running in it." Lana said, her thoughts returning to Yula's escape.

She chuckled, "that would suck," she thought of the footprints they would leave.

"So, any questions about Brogan's childhood?" she asked.

Yula looked at her surprised, "what happened to his mom?" She asked curiously, remembering it seamed like a touchy subject.

"Don't know for sure. She died while they were running and the twins didn't find HQ til after." Lana said, shrugging.

She nodded, feeling bad for Brogan and Matty, "what do you know about their dad?" She asked, assuming they had one.

"None. I think they were breeding babies." Lana said, shrugging.

She nodded slowly, her chest heavy with guilt, "what else do you know about their childhoods?" She thought it would be easier to ask that instead of every little detail.

"Well, they got to the center and were greeted by a giant group of people who thought they were government people." Lana said, smiling.

She nodded, "cool," she wondered what else happens in Brogan's life that he hadn't told her yet.

"After that, the most exciting thing was walking me back home." Lana said.

She nodded, "I see," she changed into the track pants, "what has Matty been up to?"

"Same thing. She watches out for Brogan, just like Brogan looks out for her." Lana said.

She nodded, "what have you been doing?"

"Getting lost, taking care of my dad." Lana said, shrugging.
