I can already see this drawing parallels to "Lord of the Flies".

What do you think? Did Gene push Finny? I don't think he did but I do think he wanted him to fall.

I don't think that Gene pushed Finny but I do believe that he caused the tree limb to shake just enough to cause Finny to lose his balance. A slit-second-decision that will affect both of them for the rest of their lives.
