Benjamin Uminsky (benjaminu) | 368 comments I would be very interested in Dark Gods.

Frances Much love for Dark Gods and the Monk (in part because I own them; I have had no luck trying to find Harvest Home, and buying Angel for this month pretty much scrapped my budget).

Teddy G (teddy-g) | 51 comments I vote for The Other, or something by Brian Evenson (I haven't read anything by him yet, but I heard good things). I would also like to read Her Smoke Rose Up Forever by James Tiptree Jr.

James Everington | 55 comments Dark Gods is flippin' superb... such a shame he's not written more. Based on the short amount he did write, he's one of the best ever.

Frances He's amazing. I keep trying to sit down and reread "Petey" to figure out exactly how he builds such slowly growing tension and dread, and I keep getting sucked in rather than doing analysis, and I love it. I've bought an entire book just so I could get a copy of "The Events at Poroth Farm".

James Everington | 55 comments Is that the Joshi American Supernatural anthology? Because if so, I did that too! (Although it has lots of good stories in, to be fair)

Frances That's the one! Couldn't post a link - GoodReads is being wonky for me ATM. And yes, it does. (I keep trying to figure out where the hell I read "The Lonesome Place" before, because I had read it, and everyplace I can find it listed on the ISFDB just does not ring a bell.)
