If James Dashner is American, why does the maze runner have British words in it like 'Mum' instead of 'mom' and 'wee' instead of 'small'?? Maybe there was a different version printed for the UK, but I was wondering if anyone knew??

Because Newt is the one who talks like that, he is meant to be British. Which is why, even though a few of the actors in the movie are British, only Thomas Sangster (Newt) will be speaking with the accent.
I could be wrong on part of it, but the accent thing with the actors is true for sure.

Newt was one of my favourite characters so it makes it awesome that he's gonna be British!! :D

Why did Dashner make a prequel with the worst Ending EVER!

I DONT KNOW! it was the worst ending ever does she remember him? do they die?

What ending were you expecting in a prequel to the Maze Runner? It was obvious they were all gonna die from page one.

What I don't understand is why The Kill Order doesn't say anywhere that Deedee is Theresa. That's stupid.

What is the hidden message in Maze Runner? Like is there something that gets implied but not told to the reader/viewer? What were your first thoughts when watching/reading Maze Runner?
