Sparks Dawn Treader Summer annoyed me. How about you?

I really felt that Sparks was so annoying. Yes, Moon left him which she became a Cybil but really he blamed all this horrible events that happened in his life on Moon. He complained until he got this way. Blamed everyone for this own problems. Then became a horrible man. He was saved by Moon who still loves him even though he was killing the Mers. Moon and BZ were so cute together and I was personally rooting for BZ to be Summer's real love, but NNNOOOOOo Summer must still be wtih Sparks. AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Am I the only one upset by this. The book was amazing and very well written but this love duo was not appealing to me.

Read World's End and The Summer Queen for more on the Moon / BZ relationship. It will turn out more to your liking.

I had moments where I felt the exact way. Sparks became such a terrible person that I didn't even think he deserved Moon. He replaced her with a look alike weeks after she left and she spent the entire book pining for him. It was only Moon's feeling and the lengths she went to to see him that made me root for them....BZ was kind of a bore to me though

After he fell into the role of Starbuck I lost any sympathy for him, and Moon's continued desire for him even after witnessing the mer slaughter was one of the things that didn't work for me.

Yes, I can totally relate with your opinion here... Thank goodness for "Word's End" and "The Summer Queen". Although... the end of this last one, puts some things in question. But that would be a whole new conversation topic.
