Jonah Gibson (aimlessjonah) Anybody have experience shipping (mailing) paperback books overseas? My giveaway just ended, and I need to send 3 books to GB, one to Canada, and one to Australia. What's the best, least expensive way to do this. We're talking 15.6 ounces, 6x9x.75 inches.

Belle Blackburn | 15 comments I published through createspace so I ordered the book at my author rate but had it shipped elsewhere. It ended up being about $10 total. I sent mine to Europe. Takes a bit longer but the cheapest way I found ( and someone on goodreads gave me the tip).

That's a great idea Belle. Thanks for the tip. Mine is through CreateSpace as well. Next time I'll know to limit my giveaways to the U.S.

Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 11 comments For review purposes I've sometimes ordered the book as a gift through The Book Depository (for free shipping).

But as I like to send a letter to winners of my book, I don't worry about the expense. It's a tax deduction.

And I live in Australia, so besides one winner in Indonesia, all of mine do cost a bit to send. But it's worth it.
