sonny (no longer in use) (satyrica) | 226 comments does anyone own one? are they any good? I see nook and kindle have their own posts so I thought I start this one.

(shan) Littlebookcove (littlebookcove) | 137 comments I've got one. I've had mine for half a year now and I love it. I find hunting down books for it is a awesome past time.

Becca I have a kobo glo and I really like it. I've never owned a kindle, but looking at other people's, they are pretty comparable in terms of device quality. I also like that it uses epubs because I can take ebooks out from my local library, where as that's apparently trickier if you have a kindle. I've considered getting a kindle because you can lend books to people you know, and kobo doesn't have anything similar. My only complaint about the kobo is while the mobile apps are pretty good, the computer software isn't my favourite. I would highly recommend the kobo though. I take mine everywhere and read about twice as many books because of it. And I love the light! The kobo aura has a nicer light (more diffuse) but I preferred the glo's price tag.
