Hi Breann! I noticed your little project somewhere in my feed - it started in the first? Congrats!

This series is theoretically semi-related stand alones, that said I wouldn't read them out of order myself... I am about 30% through it and I think it would be OK to read out of order, so far I'm really only seeing characters from the first book. The second book was really good though - a warm fuzzy for me!

I finished this late, late last night or in the wee hours of this morning. Overall I liked it and gave it 4*, but I had some issues. I look forward to hearing what you all think!

I finished this late last night as well.

I liked it but I didn't love it. I enjoyed the first two in the series more. I'm not sure if I can put a finger on what exactly didn't grab me. I just didn't feel as invested in Aiden and Sam as I would have liked.

I hate to say this, I hope it doesn't make me a bad person, lol, but I think I just had enough listening to Sam go on and on about Nick. We were so much in the guys' heads, listening to their inner dialogue, that I became a bit frustrated in the guys lack of communication with each other. Just talk about your feelings/issues already!

Still a nice read but just not my favorite in the series so far.

Yep, Fran - pretty much my thoughts too! I even mentioned the lack of communication in my review and progress updates! It especially bothered me since their inner dialogs had them telling themselves over and over just to talk to each other! Plus, (view spoiler)[I could also see the accident coming a mile away - probably since he was first talking about Nick's death! (hide spoiler)] But they both tended to take the easy way out and I suppose some sort of shake up was necessary to get them to stop.

But I really think you nailed it with "we were so much in the guys' heads" - I think we spent more time there than with them actually talking!

I finished Aria today, and I agree completely with the earlier comments. I enjoyed it, but just never felt the connection that I did with the characters in the previous books. Both guys had communication issues, and on top of that, when one of them would decide it was time to talk he always got shut down by the other for one reason or another. I will say though that once they finally got it together, they were great together...loved the ending!

!THANK YOU Fran! for picking up some of Dreamspinner's books for me :) I am just not near the computer much at the moment so I would have missed all of them :( Hoping next week won't be quite so hectic...

Yeah, I had a couple of Twitter issues too, but fortunately my friends helped me out there! :D I think the only ones I actually missed were the ones that happened while I was sleeping, or at least close enough on either end for me not to be online...but that has been several.
